I agree with most of what you said. As for the sources, you can read this thread and the replies from the main developer (dessalines): https://lemmy.world/post/24798

Even more first-party sources, the essays of the main developer: https://github.com/dessalines/essays

I don't care if they're Marxist-Leninists, but I do care about genocide denialism. Here's what they think about the Uyghur genocide by the Chinese government: https://github.com/dessalines/essays/blob/master/socialism_faq.md#whats-going-on-with-the-uyghurs

The rest of the FAQ is also interesting

Well since this seems to be a personal attack, I think I need to respond:

  1. Your government

I don't have a government. I don't feel that I belong to any state or government. I find the idea of states absurd.

  1. Your government genocided plenty

So, if you mean the government of the state that is occupying the particular region of the planet I was born into has committed multiple genocides, then you are 100% correct. They have. And I hate them equally as I hate other governments, particularly those of China, Russia, the US (neither of which are the government directly ruling my region). Any government that kills people (which is effectively all of them) receives my wholehearted hate, so do all of those who deny the crimes committed by them, in the name of opposing another genocidal government.

  1. you still pay your taxes

Actually, it's funny that you mention this, but I won't elaborate on this one.

You have a very good point. It's the result of their work. But on the other hand genocide denial by a person is serious enough for many people to not want to contribute to them.

Maybe I should judt use kbin or something else and stop complaining.
