Saw someone complaining about the protest in a thread where the top mod was offering up the sub to whoever wanted it. I suggested they (person complaining) go ahead and step up and ask to be a mod. They replied something like, “I don’t wanna be an E-jannie…[blah blah].”

These people assume that there’s plenty of other people who will step-up and take over. We’ll see I guess.

This is how the Reddit “addicts” can get by without Reddit and help generate content elsewhere. Find an interesting article that you’d like to discuss or see other people’s opinion on in your RSS feed? Post it to kbin or Lemmy (or whatever you use).

I completely forgot RSS was a thing even though I’m kinda old. Just got the Feeder app on iOS and added a bunch of feeds I’m interested in. Now I can scroll through and it’s kinda like browsing Reddit but without the comments section.

The Mexican pizza is my favorite and I’ve never gotten one that was broken or sideways in the bag except maybe once in twenty years. And there’s probably over a hundred Taco Bell’s where I live. It also fits in the bag just fine.

So many people incorrectly think they should go by the number on the tire, not knowing that that number is the max that tire can hold, not the recommended pressure. Putting the max amount in prevents the tread from contacting the road flat, which will cause the middle of the tread to wear quicker than the rest. Same for too little pressure, but in this case the edges wear quicker than the middle. Using the recommended pressure for your vehicle ensures the tread is contacting the road evenly all the way across the width of the tread, and gets you the best gas mileage and treat wear.

I’m pretty sure my first android phone was the Droid and it had a physical keyboard underneath the screen, which slid out to reveal the keyboard. Since on-screen keyboard was also an option, the only time I used the physical keyboard was when I remembered it was an option that I never used.

That may have been different if keyboard shortcuts worked on it. (I don’t know if they did or not, but if they did I didn’t know about it back then)

I’ve used both RIF (10-15 years ago) and Apollo (last 8 years or so). They are and were light years ahead of the official app. At this point I’m just like, “OK, bye bitch” with Reddit.
