I have not until now heard of anyone calling for the Great Lakes to be nuked but I kinda support it. Where do I sign the petition?

No no, keep going

Way back before Scott Adams went completely off the deep end I had a tin of Dilbert branded mints called Encourage Mints. This is literally a joke from the hackiest office comic ever yet some manager(s) still thought it was good idea. WTF does business school teach?

Get off your high fucking horse. Upvotes are for content you want to see, downvotes are for content you don't. Can we stop pretending there's some bullshit morality attached or that they're for anything other than base popularity?

I'm pretty sure no part of this is a good thing

It genuinely stresses me out that I can't refer to any of the wireless access points I'm responsible for as WAPs anymore. Damn you Cardi B.

"This thing they announced for last year, then pushed back to this year and released to coincide with a massively hyped TV show was a complete surprise to us." Is that really FO:London's stance? I mean, I feel for them that it sucks, but to call it a surprise feels straight up disingenuous.

Is this whole issue just "we told an algorithm to do a thing and we're shocked that it did it?" The 'prompt' is basically telling it to do this behaviour, including giving it the new name but the article treats it as if it's spontaneous.

When I started watching Harley Quinn I was like "They didn't get Mark Hamill for the Joker?? This is a travesty!" But he does do a very good job with the role, and Clayface is just fun.

I've just opened Lemmy and this is the first thing I see. I've clearly made a mistake.

Thank you and goodnight.

What's the count up to now?

That monster isn't dead yet?

So that was footage of an assault. Whomever dude is that shoved the protestor like that very badly needs to be arrested.

Razer has entered the chat

Razer Synapse is hands down the worst piece of software I've ever used. Their drivers can't find their own ass with both hands and a map. If I had a dime for every time my Razer mouse or keyboard fucked up during a game and screwed me over I'd have enough money to buy an actually good mouse and keyboard.

Bethesda's Starfield was generally a well-regarded RPG,

According to whom? It was a hollow shell of a game with a main storyline that can be summed up as "there is none."

I read that in the Professor's voice and I don't know whether to applaud or condemn you.

I'm glad I could help

Car makers don’t give you that option.

Except they do if you have Android Auto. Literally none of that has any bearing whatsoever on subscriptions for cruise control though.

I'm going to take your definition just a step further and say it's a measurement of causality specifically.

Sorry, I thought thought I had the right to tell you what you didn't want to hear.

Go back to Twitter. You obviously don't recognize freedom of speech when it's happening right infront of you.

It doesn't mean people have to listen to what you're telling them, and it certainly doesn't mean that if someone doesn't want to hear it you have a duty to say it. Cowards afraid of personal responsibility use this argument.

If any rules at all, particularly ones about no trolling or slurs, bother you than you don't want freedom of speech at all. You want freedom from consequences for your speech. Grow up.

I mean, they might if they just fucking fired Todd Howard. He's rapidly turning into Peter Molyneux and he needs to just go away.

You literally just repeated my exact point, but left out "to see"

You want it, upvote it; you don't, downvotes it. Are we actually just fighting for the sake of fighting? I thought this wasn't Reddit.

Yes

I enjoyed what little of it there was too, but there just wasn't anything substantial to it. What was there was mechanics FO4 did better 8 years earlier supporting a non existent story and a largely empty world. I was willing to overlook that snapping/building ships/outposts was FO4's settlement building but somehow worse. I was prepared to accept that individual clothing pieces were no longer a thing in favor of monolithic outfits even though it felt like a step backwards. I was even willing to accept that I couldn't walk from one side of a settlement to the other without 3 load screens but by the time it got to the "ending" and my own gorram character just chuckles at me for thinking anything whatsoever would be explained it was obvious that I'd been taken for a ride. I liked what was there, or maybe I just really wanted to, but I was much more disappointed by what wasn't there.

I'm 1000% behind an Anachronox reboot or sequel. The cliffhanger at the end of the original game is one of the largest unanswered questions of my childhood.

Out of a cannon. Into the sun.

That's the first helpful or intelligible thing anybody's said to me all day.
