HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Dear Netflix, I've been a loyal customer since 2013. I've been perfectly happy with our arrangement. YOU are the one terminating our contract, not me. It seems you'd prefer to get rid of a happy, paying customer in the hopes you can somehow persuade them to embrace a higher cost or shittier experience (ads). That's a bold move Cotton. It feels inevitable that our descendents will eventually say "holy shit, you stored your FOOD in it?!", after we discover we've been literally killing ourselves the whole time

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Explore how it feels when you deliberately choose to lose a relationship.

I adopted this years ago so I could tell the difference between a 1 and a 7 😁

Dogs and cats, living together! Mass heysteria!

Not weird at all, just a different perspective they weren't previously aware of. One group I know of that does this is people who follow stoicism. Memento mori!

Yeah the way I see it is that even Douglas himself didn't quite have a single vision in his mind about the story, which is why there are so many iterations (radio, book, movie, tv series, musical? Am I forgetting anything?)

That was our approach, with columns for different stores to identify the better price points where we were buying an identical/equivalent item. Turns out Costco tends to have the best pricing for non-perishable items.

What do you mean by "libtard"? Sounds like it might be offensive to some.

That last part is driving me crazy with frustration. If I identify a health hazard in my life, I take reasonable precautions against it, but when the whole system is inundated with that same issue, its hard to feel like you're aligned with "society". Like you said, it's literally in everything we eat, drink and do. I'll continue to support the plastics industry as little as possible, but it still has a stranglehold on industry. I've heard some promising reports from India about new developments in more sustainable packaging, but nothing's hit the mainstream yet.

What makes a man a man?

Huh, I always put that down to the fiction part of science fiction 😉 Can you imagine a scifi story where the lead says "oh, sorry, I can't send you this file cause you don't have a [brand device]"? đŸ¤Ŗ

Owen's Theme from Torchwood. Not an amazing show, but the music was written and composed by Ben Foster & Murray Gold who brought us all the haunting music from the new Dr. Who series. The descending pattern, combined with Owen's own tragic story is one of the most indulgent depressing songs I've ever heard.

Or just after gaining weight. ☚ī¸

Seconded.

Oh and we only had to maintain the list for about 3-6 months to understand pricing in our area.Good luck OP!

Aka "Don't be a dick" I'm right there with you friend. Donuts unite!

Not really. I've run Plex for years now, and it's still infinitely better than the PS3 Media Server we ran before. Sometimes it crashes but that's always been resolved by a quick reboot. I have more issues with my Nvidia Shield than with Plex itself.

I'll buy that for a dollar 😁

What about El Duderino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing? 😁

But ser! Wizz theez Rocher, you arr spoiling us!

Deep a dee bob bay! 😄

Is it considered a technological advancement to remove something which exists now and actively makes life worse? I'd like to remove "health insurance" as a concept

FYI this appears to be the US Staples only. In Canada (or at least Ontario), Goodwill accepts electronics recycling, now that Staples has shut that down.

I'm disappointed we're still framing it as an issue that only impacts women. Other than that I'm right with you, but see a lot of potential here.

Ugh so gross. So there's only 1 possible solution, and they have to sell it to you. More options pleas3, not made of clunky, awkward pads which force me to wear Granny panties.

The Trigger Happy TV moment when the phone rings, and you just imagine "HELLO? HELLO?! NO, MATE, I'M BEING DIGESTED! WHAT? NO IT'S CRAP" 😁

Ha ha Terry Pratchett especially, but also Stephen King sometimes disagree 🙂

I thought harpooning whales was an ancient relic of the past, not something we're STILL fighting against in the 21st century. Oof.

...which I totally mis-read as chapsticks and was wondering where you get chapsticks long enough to eat with đŸ¤Ļ‍♀ī¸đŸ˜…

And yet I'm still inundated by advertising for each movie, making me keenly aware of the thing I don't want constantly rammed down my throat. I've come to expect it at fast food restaurants, but I can't even shop for groceries without Marvel trying to push something at me. I'm not actively watching Marvel movies, but they are still part of my life whether I want them there or not.

Aren't I though?
