They even know they're being lied to, and still go along.

This guy was on the January 6th committee. He appears to be genuine in his disgust of trump, and I doubt he is envious of him.

That being said, he still holds all of the core conservative views that keep us poor and sick.

Go suck Putin's dick, no one is stopping you.

Access to the data it's what matters, ownership is just one method of access.

This is not normal, don't pretend that it is.

Deplorable is exactly the right word

It's about everything being awful and making sure it stays that way to make Biden look bad.

Exactly, we've seen this previously with Internet explorer.

In 2008 Americans elected a black man president, and the Republicans lost their shit and went scorched earth.

I doesn't make me happy either, it's also the right thing for them to do in the circumstance. They can't pretend as though things didn't change, as consequences of the recent decades of Republican treachery.

It's tough to see a way out.

Check out codeberg for a non-profit host for (instance of?) Forgejo.

Google pays to be the default search in Firefox, it was Bing for a while.

Not to mention paid off

CrowdTangle is Meta's tool for election integrity, they're shutting it down without a replacement.

Can we put those involved in prison?

I have an idea, let's build a big Migrant Processing center close to the border. Staff it and stock it with everything required (ie medical, security, temporary housing), treat people like people. And call it Latin Island.

So then he's innocent, case closed.

The word they're looking for is 'corruption'.

Maybe a disgraced ex president shouldn't receive an honor guard?

Blaming conservatives for blocking funding, that's exactly correct.

There are two things to consider here:

  1. Adherence to Standards
  2. Creating artificial "feature" based defacto standards

Chrome offers adherence to standards as one of their features. But it also introduces new features that look like standards, meant to increase profits for the parent company.

Sounds like Douglas Adams

Just like how edge competes with chrome, I suppose.

In Fiscal Year 2021, USAID and the U.S. Department of State provided $8.5 billion of assistance to 47 countries and 8 regional programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

This has nothing to do with aiding underdeveloped African nations, this is about defending Ukrainian sovereignty.

Republicans were so angry about Obama, for no reason they could ever articulate. It really helped me to understand them and their motivations.

I literally rearranged the headline wording

This is good, they should do it when the mfg can't keep up supply, also.

Being able to document the exact algorithms used to solve a problem is sort of a 'Holy Grail' in programming. Most programmers aren't afforded the time to document to that level. This would require refining the code down to a single cohesive story that describes the functionality of the implementation. It's great when you can spend the time on it, but the problem is that the code is actually "working" long before that point. Most employers want to stop paying for code after it starts working.

Everyone who provided aid, as well.

Because we're not them

They always confess in the form of an accusation.

What's this US shit? These corps are international and Americans pay more (for meds) than anyone else does out of pocket.

That is some BS, Republican type shit right there.

Which just furthers op's main point, really. I mean it was fairly well planned in a fairly overt fashion, why weren't they prepared?

If you're using visual studio (2022 is current) the idiomatic styling will be mostly correct by default (Ctrl k,e will reformat).

And with Trump's fragile ego, he'll demand that his followers direct all that hate at Haley for not dropping out. She's in for a ride...

You're missing the point. Netscape implemented the html standard, they didn't introduce new, proprietary "features" to gain that market share.

Google Groups, according to a random internet stranger who claimed to work at Google - they use it internally and so won't kill it.

I don't think I would believe it, even if I saw it. I don't know what it would take to generate trust, my gut says they'll laugh this off the next time they get to go beat some heads.

Interfering with US gov decision making is currently a very high priority for them...
