What if you adopt a new word instead of trying to rehabilitate a racist one? Are you able to learn and use new words? Or are you too stuck in your ways to realise that words have meaning beyond the only connotation you know about?

If only there was a far more popular word for MODifyING and customizing something, software especially.

  • cheap (companies sell off their stocks when upgrading so you get a few years old business laptop for a fraction of the price)

  • cheap and plentiful parts

  • popular models are usually easy to upgrade and repair

  • it's built so coked up business sharks can throw it across the office

  • best laptop keyboards

  • trackpoint and physical mouse buttons

  • great Linux support

It's no wonder Canonical is partnering up with Microsoft to EEE Linux

My friend, read the thread. You're getting triggered over someone laughing at the idea of westerners hosting web content in China to escape censorship.

From what I've seen it's far from bleeding edge. A few months ago I compared it to other rolling release distros and it was by far the most out of date.

There's always a chance I messed up, but afaik it was tumbleweed. Although I was looking for some programming and niche packages, not something popular like Firefox.
