Audiobooks, I listen while I’m working. I like paper books too, it’s lovely to sink into the pages. I don’t like reading stuff on a screen because I was born too soon.

I’m glad it’s Friday, I don’t want to work any more OT. I’ve hit the point of vanishing returns where my attention to detail starts to wane.

I’m looking forward to seeing my friends this weekend to roll some dice and try not to die.

I went to buy tickets for a bucket list concert (Caifanes & Café Tacvba) and then I found tickets on sale for another bucket list concert (Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, and Pitbull together). I bought tickets for both and made all my plans. Two days ago I got an email from my all time favorite DJ (Mura Masa) announcing a North American tour ..so I got tickets to that too. Tonight while I was making plans for the third concert, I saw an ad for another couple concerts (Twin Tribes and KMFDM) and now Im booked to see 8 acts in the next few months. I am so excited I could die. I’m building playlists, and singing like a fool. I keep walking around shrieking to myself and weirding out my cats. It feels really good having stuff to look forward to.

Sitting in LA traffic but I’m not driving. We’re coming back from the Grammy Museum and Chinatown. I’m visiting my fams, headed to a big family dinner tonight and my heart is full.

I took some time off to see fams last week. It was so nice. We made art, played games, cooked food, and talked a lot.

Back at work this week is our in office week. I don’t like coming in to work but at least our carpool is always fun. I heard a very terrible and nasty rumor that next year we will be back in office full time. I sure hope not because I was just starting to feel comfortable in this job.

I didn’t graduate high school so I thought no one wanted me there but I was wrong. I meant to go to the next one but Covid canceled it.

My elderly parent has been in the ICU for days and struggling to recover from what is normally a routine surgery. Not much i can do from here but try not to let it overwhelm me.

Hell yes. Night of the Comet will always be a favorite for me. The idea of having damn near any material stuff you could want combined with hardly any other people around sounds like paradise. Don’t at me with the reality of things cause those don’t factor into my fantasy.

Yesterday I had the worst migraine of my life. I’m still weak today so I’m just hoping it doesn’t repeat. I hope everyone has a nice and peaceful day.

None. IMHO animals species that are not domesticated should stay in the wild.

Way to go! The older I get the more I’ve learned that dental health is an important part of my overall health.

Woke up early so now I’m laying in bed and listening to the rain. I’ve been kind of in between days with all the overtime I have been working.

So far so good! I didn’t think I’d get to see the eclipse at work today but one of my peers swung by my desk with some viewing glasses and said “go check it out!” I don’t dig going into the office but at least I get to work with good people.

Couple more days of work and then it’s off to LA for a concert. I need to be more kind to myself and quit with the binge eating so I can get back on my weight loss journey. Work has slowed down so the projects are starting up. However, after busting my ass so hard last year and only getting a few shells tossed my way, I am far less motivated to be number one this year.

Finally got home from our trip. My partner has to work but I was able to get today off so I’m laying in bed with my best cat. This Friday we’re going to see the band Twin Tribes. We’ll probably be the oldest people there but idgaf because I love live music.

I have an interview today for a better position within the same company. I’ve been preparing all weekend. I’m ready for the personality olympics. Wish me luck!

This is how I wound up watching Asian fantasy series on Netflix.

This week is my one week per month in office. I carpool with friends who make it more than tolerable. I actually look forward to in office time because of them. Last year I hated this job so much, this year is a lot better with friends.

I’m visiting my in-laws in the Delaware area. We’re far from home, so it’s always an adventure for me as I’ve only been out this way three times now.

NYE was a bust cause I got super sick with vertigo. The next day we got to catch the end of the Mummers Parade in person, so I was over the moon! I got whiskey that was too strong for me at an Irish pub and ate hot pretzels outside the city hall.

Last night we visited Longwood Gardens and today we’re touring the Herrs chip factory. After that it will be games and relaxing.

It’s hard to express how much better this year has started compared to last year. I feel like the sun is finally peeking thru the darkness of the last few years.

This is so disgustingly fitting!

Started the weekend early and now I’m tired already on Friday night.

Been working on a homebrew RPG where all the players are cats. I’m almost done and I can’t wait to be the dungeon meowster!

Yay! I thought about your comment over the weekend and hoped you went to the concert.

Went to a Dave and Busters with my friends, got hella overstimulated but also played Halo and Rampage and some other stuffs. Ate pretzels and strawberry shortcake. Came home to watch cdramas and pass out. It was a good day.
