Just a very tall autistic man who likes flashlights, star wars, memes, free speech absolutism, net neutrality & the right to full bodily autonomy for all.

I've never torrented anything, not even once. I always pay for things legitimately...no matter how hard it is to keep track of everything you're paying for or how expensive it gets to pay the same movies again and again when the billion dollar corporations randomly decide I don't own something I paid for all of a sudden. I never pirate anything.

You should only use good VPNs that are lying about their no-logs policies like Nord, Express, Private internet access and surfshark. Never TorGuard or Mullvad. TorGuard and Mullvad actually had to prove in court that they don't record their users. So they're bad and immoral for not being cucks for the establishment.

Definitely don't get torguard's proxy service to go with torguard. And definitely don't use torguard's proxy service inside of your torrenting client.

Like I said I've never pirated anything in my entire life and I never will.

Every time I think printers can't get any worse, they get worse.

What's next? are they going to have to scan your anus to confirm that it's actually you printing things? I shouldn't give them ideas.

By the way, I'm sure there's a way to get into the firmware of the printer to disconnect it from that centralized service.

Cool! Now work on exploits for those paywalled features of BMW cars and Ford cars.

If you pay for something it's yours by right. You should be able to use the entire thing, because you physically have it now.

It's a printer, and for fucks sake, BMW is locking you out of certain features of their cars if you don't pay per month.

Telsa cars will drive themselves out of your house if you miss a payment.

Jeroba on mobile, web app inside of firefox with adblockers on desktop.

There's a difference between causing a panic like that and sending mean tweets or telling an offensive joke

HOTSPOT SHIELD IS GREAT! THEY CUCK TO THE DMCA!

Even better!

I'm glad more and more workers are realizing the power they have over the industries they're working in.

Without the workers, the businesses have nothing. We really need to have a serious revolution before they replace all jobs with AI robots.

Yes

It supported desktop extensions before, then they got rid of that and now they're going to do it again?

Facebook sucks, there's nothing but dumb boomers on there now. And the amount of data they harvest from their users is insane. If they think you're a bot, they'll demand to see your government issued ID or your SSN to "verify" you and totally not to get deeper insight into who you are and how to sell shit to you.

this right here is the problem with centralized authority that's accountable to no one.

Okay, so the creator of Brave might be a bigot and some of the stuff it does with crypto currency is a little sketchy? And the ads it replaces with the blocked ads are somewhat invasive?

So disable the crypto stuff and use ad-blocking software along with its own adblocking functions.

If a mechanic fixes my car and does a really good job, but he might have some shitty opinions of gay people, as long as he fixes my car I don't care about what he might think of gay people.

Everyone needs to be aware that there's propaganda everywhere. microsoft and google REALLY want you to use their browsers and people are tired of the data MS Edge and chrome collect.

I for one, hate that chrome constantly connects other shit to your google account with just one accidental click sometimes. Edge does the same shit, but brave is the only chromium based browser that doesn't deceptively do shit like that.

I still like firefox better and I only have brave for those rare instances where firefox won't work on a website. And I don't actually believe that the creator of brave is actually a bigot. Pro-liberty, Pro-privacy and anti-surveillance types are always getting smeared as bigots when they aren't.

Yeah...Pretty much. That and giant pickup trucks.

Everything I ever wrote about me pirating anything was also a lie to get upvotes! A higher Karma score on reddit means a higher standing. Which is why I always lied about having pirated things.

Now here comes the truth. I've never pirated anything, that would be wrong and immoral!

If you block them from collecting even one of those things, they'll lock you out of your account until you show them your ID and SSN. It should be illegal for social media to spy on you THAT invasively.

The NSA did it first

That fine should have to be 25 billion, not million. Then they'd actually learn a lesson.

That will never happen. He'll never be prosecuted for crimes he actually committed.

Like when he didn't divest from his businesses and took bribes from the Israelis and Saudis. Which nobody ever cared about.

They've been making alternate versions of every movie for china since 2008. Especially disney. Disney is such a cuck to china that they declared all the winnie the pooh characters as public domain to appease Ping.

The fact that they're doing it out in the open is what really concerns me.

What are they doing in the dark if they're okay with telling on themselves about this?

Torrenting? Like a torrent of hellfire?! Which is where you'll go if you pirate anything made by a multi-hundred-billion dollar corporation?

How are the executives at AT&T, Comcast, Disney and Viacom supposed to pay for their diamond-dusted lambos if we pirate things?!

Did you know that AT&T bought time warner? How is AT&T supposed to pay off that purchase if a tiny percentage of their products are pirated?!

I only ever claimed I pirated things to fit in...peer pressure! LOOK IT UP!

Skype and aim could transfer even more than that, skype can still do way more than 2GB

YOLO!

I'm on a different instance that's all about porn. I think it's actually the biggest instance for porn.

Yes, but PIA has been bought out by a different company since then.

Nah, keep using it. Brave is really good It can do everything chrome can do, except it doesn't spy on you and it has adblocking built in.

awesome! It's available for firefox based browsers!

Gotta use a zero-knowledge VPN for all P2P transfers.

It's Puff, the magical dragon.

What's the percent that comments?

Microsoft and google like to shit all over Brave all the time. Brave is very privacy friendly, the data they collect from their users is way less invasive than the shit Edge and Chrome collect from you.

Yeah, I first heard about that new policy yesterday. It's dumb

I know. I was over on that post too.

How do I see which lemmy instance has the most users?

I used the same username.

Just don't make it a metro app on windows, make it a real app for windows. I hate the microsoft store with a burning passion, everything on there is just a lesser version of the real thing, and 90% or more of the metro-apps on there don't even work.

Cool

My eye doctor examined my eyes and saw several reasons why I see very well in low amounts of light. I'm also really good at spotting small bugs and small items that everyone else seems to miss.

The eye doctor told me to never go outside in daylight without proper eye protection. Not even when the sky is overcast.
