"Dark messengers for Satanism"... Modern journalism really is fucking stupid. The Satanic Temple doesn't do anything like that, and starting your article out that way comes across as totally unserious and diminishes the work the Satanic Temple is actually out there doing.

His name was already about as white bread as it gets. This is a real and genuine problem when it comes to hiring, but it's going to be a huge uphill battle for him to prove anything here.

I'm fully in support of Kamala, but she's not Gen X. Close, but no cigar. She was born in 1964.

Sleepy Donald is upset. He should take a nap.

Most young people don't know what's going on either with all the celebrities. Everything has just become so niche. You could have a popular streamer with 10M+ subscribers and interview 100 people on the street under 18 and nobody knows who they are.

This reminds me of the Xennial generation that fell between X and Millennial. This also sort of shows how little we can really actually equate from these 20+ year generational spans. Really I am just happy she's not old enough to collect SSI yet.

What a fucking troll. I love it.

Fuck it. The next three president's should be Harris, Whitmer, and then AOC. Let's go!

That's essentially what happened here. She wasn't at risk any longer and the murder was premeditated. The prosecutor did their job here as they are supposed to, and it was sentenced as it should have been according to the law.

That being said, this is really why we have pardons, and I hope one is granted in this case.

NYT has been going downhill for a while now, and their slant lately couldn't be more obvious. I was a reader for years but ditched my account recently. It's not even the Biden stuff per se, but just all of the reporting quality became more about shock and drama than actual journalism. They used to be great too.

I'm getting used it here and Kbin and that's all it took for me to leave Digg back in the day.

At this point I wouldn’t be completely surprised if that chair that Clint Eastwood shouted at a few years ends up on the ballot.

That was 12 years ago :(

Most of the sports in the Olympics aren't really money makers. That's more or less always been the case. Many athletes train while working fulltime. Maybe it's good OF and things like it provide another outlet. Some countries fund their athletes, and others don't. If anyone is upset about people making a fortune off of it, you can always stop supporting it.

Because the actual records of this case and transcripts from the Epsteine documents were revealed, and it goes into a lot of depth on why this case should be bigger news and given a lot more attention.

I went out on a date with a woman who actually did that to me, then tried to turn the date into a loud and aggressive Trump stump speech. This was back around 2015, right before the election. The waiter actually came and helped me get out of it. These people operate on another plane of reality. I sincerely wonder if she's still drinking the Kool-Aid.

Kamala 2024! Let's go!

AOC is running for president? Wow, I had no idea!

I feel like narrow AI tools duped me for a while, but the more I started to really use Chat GPT professionally, the more I've likened it to professional mimicking software. It essentially works to pyt out responses that sound the most convincing but have nothing to do with putting out responses that are actually at all accurate. These are terrible tools outside of asking basic questions, idea generation, and generally summarizing existing information you feed into it. I use it to help me make lists and better phrase emails and company messages at this point and nothing that actually requires any actual fact finding.

But he seemed like such a fine young gentleman. I am shocked.

I wanted Kelly, but I'd be pretty happy with Walz. Shapiro would just take the wind out of the sails.

It's also an extremely common last name among white people. It tells you nothing on a resume. This dude's name is akin to someone named John Smith.

A past preferred candidate? Trump has been a straight up Russian stooge since the fucking 1980s. I am so sick of the media tip toeing around this shit. Gee, I wonder if it's because more than half the media was bought by the same handful of right-wing douchebags that are promoting Trump and Russian interests. The real coup happened in 2016.

Unfortunately, around half of the Trump voters are women. Turns out men and women actually seem to favor fascism pretty equally.

By far the weirdest Kennedy.

The amount of obvious bot posts and comments just essentially copy pasting the same basic shit all over the place got exhausting.

I saw a KIA the other day that I was surprised looked as slick as it did. Decided to look into it and saw a lot of positive reviews from owners. Was refreshing to see, but definitely surprising. The market is definitely changing and evolving. Tesla isn't the only game in town.

They are fascists, and they didn't delay for the fuck of it. They don't even hide their support of Russia. They are all sedititious fucks.

No, they'll vote for Trump anyway because "genocide". As if Trump doesn't actually want to wipe Palestine clean off the map, whereas Biden doesn't actually support that at all. People's priorities are confusing as hell.

He was registered back in 2021. Not sure this has much bearing on the 2024 primaries. He could have been a right leaning person who didn't like Trump. Those people exist. Basically, most libertarians.

It should be revealing with a story like this just how controlled the media has actually become. The vast majority of major media outlets have been slowly bought out and/or heavily funded by right-wing groups. The story should be everywhere, but you'll probably only see it in niche news sites and maybe MSNBC. This is also why all we really see are negative stories about Biden regardless of what Trump does or says.

That's the real problem, but too many people here and elsewhere are unaware of the limitations on how the legislative process works. Anything like this is pretty much DOA and purely ceremonial. I'm happy for all of the positive things Biden has been able to get done in spite of such gridlock, but amendment level change in this country is just not at all possible right now.

He's afraid of smart women.

Hey fair point!

It's pretty sad, really. I'd be embarrassed if I were them.

Probably something like the Bronze Era collapse, but with a lot more people and likely a rebound that leads to a slower industrial revolution involving renewable materials. I think the actual collapse will take a lot longer than people seem to think, on the order of the next 75 to 100 years. I think for some, it could happen rather quickly over the next 10-20 years, but for most, it'll be a slow and meandering quality of life decline over several generations that is already under way. Recovery will take much longer on the order of 100 to 250 years. I am basing this guesstimate on absolutely zero scientific information whatsoever.

He's borderline the ideal version of what a family man looks like even in their own version of reality. He's a white independently successful retired military, churchgoing, family man. Good luck with that one, couch fuckers.

It's unfortunately how you win these days. Campaigns in the past tried to take the high road when Trump went low. That doesn't work. So this is what we get.

If they get control, slavery will return to America in less than a couple years.

You think that's the end game for some people? I think it's worse. I don't think it would happen immediately, but I think things escalate over the years especially as they find they can't simply deport everyone they don't like, and not everyone will be "fit" for slavery. You can imagine where I'm going I am sure.

Warren would have been fucking awesome. I'm so disappointed it didn't work out, but I'm also not surprised. She is the real deal. We can't actually get a president who is truly committed to bank reform and breaking up monopolies.

I genuinely don't even know what this post is talking about. Bread ties on a windowsill? What?
