Here to post and see the obligatory $0*2 = $0

Halo excelled at being a FPS on console before auto aim and aim assist were a thing. The terrible, tank-like movement and super floaty, slow jumps would be trash in any PC FPS around its time. But having players move at Quake speeds in Halo would be frustrating, and no one would hit things in multiplayer.

Or would, on a game without modern control assist, anyways. Games don't tend to be as fast as they used to, and Halo has really sped up as a series, but it is still on the slower side.

INSIDE was easier than LIMBO, but a worthy spiritual successor. Very good in the genres of puzzle platformer and horror. No cheap tricks, just good work all the way through.

The story is VERY open ended, and I felt a little slighted at first, but it grew on me. As far as very open ended stories, so was LIMBO's.

I don't know about Diablo 2, but Blizzard is so shady and messed up nowadays that I wouldn't be surprised that they "lost the source code" to prevent modders being able to port games, etc.

As for transformers, it was never lost (PCGamer, if you don't like Xfire). Hasbro claimed they wanted to provide access to legacy games, but completely made up that the source was lost. Now that we know that the source is still available... well, Hasbro clearly hasn't tried to rerelease those games.

(note: I know this is the same company, Activision Blizzard in both cases. For anyone reading who doesn't know, they were not the same company for the release of Diablo II, and a good amount of time afterwards.)

There is a mod made for Halo: Custom Edition called "Cursed Halo". The creator, Inferno Plus, has made three versions, now, and the newest is for Halo: Master Chief Collection. The humour is abundant, and it is an absolute ride when he makes a new version.

Headline isn't really clickbait. The police really did state that.

Court documents say Williams admitted to police that she started the fire intentionally. She said she used the chips because she knew they would support combustion because of the grease content.

Why not both? A gun that shoots American flags that shoots bullets.

...to stop data sharing for AI training (or other purposes) for other people. There is no way I believe Musk wants to stop the collection and use of data, especially since he is trying to make his own AI. Even with the fact he is trying to kill off Twitter at the same time.

Oh, something I thought of, there is a ROM Hack for Super Mario World I'd recommend, too, called "Diagonal Mario 2". Being in that community, I know of several fun, funny, and trolly hacks- but Diagonal really doesn't rely on SMW, kaizo, or community knowledge. Its humour and gameplay are pretty accessible for anyone.

I push it up the stick so it disguises the stick better, then I can eat it and get my fibre.

Ah, yes, I miss the days of 343 having home grown blood sacrifices.

The post needs more info.

What are you playing on? I have a good list of PC games.

Do you mean "Couch Co-op"? Or LAN, like many comments here seem to assume you do?

exclusively singularly

I think you mean... plurally?

Long before I had any knowledge of transgender or even transexuality, I knew to use they/them when gender was unknown. I agree that the "singular they" is long accepted, correct, common English.

Idiots use lots of words. Like the word "idiots".

This was actually my original thought :/ It should be a joke, but then again, so should drug searches.

Gun laws vary from state to state. In some U.S. states, there is virtually no gun regulation at all, like Montana and Alaska. On the other hand, some states have stricter gun legislation. Some of these states which have the strictest gun laws tend to be those which are most populous and have a larger urban community, those who are residing in cities compared to those in rural areas. Take California for example, which has the strictest gun laws in the United States and has the seventh lowest rate of death by gun violence despite being the most populous state. Other states with some of the strictest gun laws include New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Hawaii, and Connecticut.

Saying "Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws" is something I've heard passed around on FB before. It doesn't surprise me that gang violence and random gun violence happens in more populated areas, and that cities and densely populated states would have crime and laws to match. But I've never seen evidence that Chicago is an outlier for gun laws as a city. I mean, the post here suggests that the "assault weapons ban" is new, so clearly the state hadn't made any laws against semi-auto firearms, large calibre firearms, or large capacity mags until now (recently).

The green dots.

Lead a pretty good life and got to live to 99. I am always hopeful his passing was painless.
