Am I the one who finds X federated in the status of this website as that instance is not federated ?

It also confuses me that it says like that instance is federated.

On mobile? Use newpipe/libretube/Revanced

youtube ui itself sucks.

programming.dev is the name of instance. I think you got misunderstood here.

please also don't check about protonVPN.

But currently there is no redirect to preferred instance type of settings available which in quite uncomfortable to me.

For example, I created an account on lemmy.world instance and click an url like https://lemmy.world/c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml, it redirects to lemmy.ml instead of lemmy.world instance.

heavilyinfuriating

ok. first to-do things on my list now.

Seriously, youtube recommendation become a trash. All it recommend me is propaganda videos even though I'm never interested in it. Gone are the golden age where youtubers don't simp for like, share, subscribe and comment.

Modern problems require costly solutions.

Smartphones are severely limited for power usage. Use a regular laptop/desktop for multi works.

I see syncthing; I comment this.

emacs vs vim

Emacs

I use freetubeapp.io/ and newpipe. Althought freetube is electron, it is good in its use case.

Save comments exists in lemmy

Hope so

This browser's UI looks like a ghey. Glad I'm use linux so I just stuck in the world of firefox

What here mlmym stands for?

Time to telegram.

There are some telegram bots and channels. But those can't be shared here because of piracy reasons. Try searching in search engines, you may get few.

Revanced has an app and works like ok.

if video creators think, there a replacement exists: peertube

I guess it's because some people like consistency and not rapid changes. X may be because of NoVideo users.

Some lemmy communities enforces its own particular language. In this case, that "hacker news" community enforces display of posts for the users who have selected english as a language in the profile section.
you can also do multi select languages in lemmy.

There is nothing tech savy in linux, if you use the right distro. Moreover, mostly tech savy people customize their OS and not average users. If an user can install an app for customizing, then linux is no more different.

That's why karma system is good, atleast in some way.

if AI can create code by its own, then that's the day when every white collar jobs will be replaced by AI.

java is oracle

We really need karma system here. Atleast if not during early days of account creation time, it can be later a grace period. Or else lemmy will become like quora.
