If the services are fulfilling the needs that the customers have, no piracy is needed. There are some issues, like this, but for the most part, Spotify is quite good currently.
For the last part: I'm pretty sure it's just his thing to do "real" things, instead of scripting, cutting it down, watching it before or anything.
I also very much got the feeling that he acted in a defensive and hurt way, but it's his real emotion and I can understand it since Linus is bashing the phone much more than "necessary".
I would like if cars would somehow indicate how strong they are braking. Like a meter filling, the light starting to blink after a certain threshold and blinking faster etc.
THIS. I remember, when I started watching GoT, it was a shitshow to actually get the content in ANY way, not even speaking about getting access legally. This changed with time, but the show often was exclusive to Sky, which is one of the most garbage paid tv services I know of. I can buy it, but I REALLY don't want to support Sky for their bad service. There really should be no exclusivity to those things.
Is the free API part actually true for Sparkasse? I was not able to find an API solution for them. I did find something, but beyond a certain step, there wasn't an actual API.
I was thinking (from reading the headline) that if one specific component fails 15 times during boot or so, it will just automatically get disabled by the system, so that you don't run into an unavoidable boot loop.
But this makes sense as well, if they did write "up to" in the article (as others have stated). Even though I find the confidence weird. Imagine you have some weird dial-up or satellite internet solution for your system, which just needs time to connect, and then maybe also just provide a few bytes/kilobytes per second. This must be rare, but I'm 100% confident that there exists a system like this :D
Edit: okay, I should read first. The 15 times thing is said for azure machines.
I really don't remember well anymore right now, but there was some infection 2 years back or so, where if you had it, you couldn't process some kind of meat/any meat anymore.
But by not sharing anything, you'd loose users who don't want to sign up for each instance individually. I think it would be a good way to be able to sign up once on one instance and then being able to use all other instances available, but the chats etc of one instance being private to the instance itself.
Not sure whether to support this, after they just turned off servers of PA1.
Hey I rebooted 14 times now, just as you told me, but it's still not working.*
:D
Ohhhh me too, right until "Rust 2 won't be a Unity game"
if buying isn't owning piracy isn't stealing
This sounds nice
This is what I don't get. Well obviously they want to push usage of their own services, but shortcut stuff like this should always be customisable. To a degree I even understand it for assistant, but why would you want to push the usage stats of the camera app? Android has been about choice for such a long time, but they have been fucking this up for so many years now, letting Apple get the points here.
I'll take a look, thank you
I'm currently using wefwef because it's the most polished one regarding UI, that I've found. The jerboa one didn't let me sign in via feddit.de because of version mismatch.
But I'm very certain that I'll switch to Sync for Lemmy once that's out, as was a very long-time user of Sync for Reddit and it's UI just was so clean.
Yeah, I'm also kind of just using it to generate more content to get it to becoming more popular.
I find this feature really cool, I just think that it's a bummer you can't remove or edit them later.
I think this is normal with a smaller community. Also we are the ones that care more about a healthy community. The bigger a community gets, the more dickheads will exist in it.
The poor sand..
How many phones do you own? One for every weekday? :)
Yeah I think that was it. Thank you :)
Just don't preorder and wait for Playtests or maybe also just the first few days after release. I'll probably do the second even
Well, there are people calling on speakers.
For me that could be Sketch :)
I'm not fully sure, as I've only read this somewhere, but it seems like other release channels are also somewhat delayed. I think I'm on beta even and somehow didn't get the update automatically (macOS btw)
Wow, I'm feeling old.
Things like C&C. If you know current ones, let me know. I didn't really research anymore. Most of what I've seen in the past had some random new spin on it.
Yes of course. I'm thinking about driving on the highway and being in a close to traffic jam for example.
Okay yeah I think I got the idea of it. Thank you :)
I'm have also liked hots. And actually I kinda still like it. I don't need ranked, I just play solo or would like to play with friends. Friends mostly don't, sadly, because it's " ded game"
I was searching for this, but how can you do a wildcard account which will just receive mails from all aliases?
So you can actually get transaction information of your own account via an API via psd2?
Did they fix moving large files? This has been a big issue for me with it.
I'm guessing it's a bug/texture glitch. Since your mates couldn't see it, I guess it was loaded by error or very likely by a hacker. Probably your game couldn't handle it and the texture loading for it went wrong because of that.
Tbh, I would then also not update anything on Thursdays (which does maybe do overnight procedures) since it may be breaking over night then, leaving you just little time to fix before the weekend :D
This kinda can be extended up until Monday, I know, but, at least in Germany, on Fridays people go home way sooner than other days.
That's nice, always wanted to have some cli tool for making memes. Features I'd like
I was just thinking about an example. For example when there is a specific movie I want only in 480p for whatever reason? So I create a second profile for that and sort that movie into that profile?
It really isn't. The idea started great, but they focused way too much on lobby play instead of missions. And lobbies were just not good, because of tech problems and because they just gave out overpowered stuff there you can't counter. It all just felt too much, instead of your character just being a trailer gangster. And it's very obvious that everything is focused on you having to buy shark cards. I enjoyed 3rd party clients way more.
I wouldn't say I was a fanboy, but I liked him before .. I don't know, he was always crazy. These days he's even more crazy and I'm not touching anything he does.
