Holy fuck.

I was a teacher for a private company at 17. I taught kids aged 6-14. A couple of my students I had occasional intrusive sexual thoughts about.

She was 8, which was way below my AoA of 12+, and she certainly hadn’t started puberty. But she was attractive. She made me nervous, I thought about her everyday, I envisioned what we’d do together–she was just like any crush to me, only instead of an adult, she was a kid. But does that really make a difference? She was a person. What should age have to do with love? Eventually shit happened.

They even call it the pediverse.

Clickbaity title.

Mozilla has provided an update to Firefox version 118.0.1 to close a vulnerability that is already being used to attack Chrome users.

For the second time this month, Mozilla has to patch a 0-day vulnerability in Firefox that initially seemed to affect only Chrome and its derivatives.

Yes it's being exploited, yes you should update, but the vulnerability is not actively exploited in Firefox as far as we (they) know of.

In other words, this only affects Chromium based browsers.

Taking a $325m hit? Heineken said they'd withdraw earlier, but still made record profits in 2022 in Russia because others left sooner and Heineken chose that opportunity to expand.

If we apply that same theory to @ElonJet, then that wouldn't be doxxing either. Obviously Elon thinks otherwise. If @ElonJet is doxxing, then so is this.

Optometrist here; rinse with cold or ambient temperature tap water (don't use hot water!), use dishwashing soap without citric acid if the glasses are really dirty, dry with a clean cotton cloth.

You'd think the Apple review process would prevent these kind of things.

Why don't you host your own server? You need as much as NUC or Raspberry Pi even combined with a couple of harddisks or SSD'S.

For the lazy people:

But the BSPP (fire brigade) has not yet linked the death with the ongoing riots. The fire brigade told Le Parisien: "We intervene every week, all year round, on a dozen fires of this type, we must not confuse concomitance and causality."

Never saw the u/spez functie elders. For background, after the latest Dutch elections there was this politician called Omtzigt. He wanted to become the leader of one of the bigger parties, but not everybody was in favor of him, so his own party fucked him. That's because he's been very critical about some things the government has done the last few years (biggest thing is the "toeslagenaffaire" which really is a shitshow, I can't even give you a proper synopsis).

The leaders of the big parties that wanted to form a coalition had one major objective, to not give Omtzigt a place within the government. So they wanted to seek a different position ("functie")for him somewhere else ("elders"). Omtzigt is pretty popular among voters though. That's what differs him from u/spez.

Edit: the current state of r/place is even better.

Is Apple Maps any good these days? I remember it being useless when it was released.

To take some sting out of the move, Google is offering a "$100 loyalty reward credit" for active Pixel Pass subscribers. You can use it for $100 off a new Pixel phone from the Google Store or Google Fi, and it expires in two years.

I could not care less. I want my mod tools in Apollo back.

I have noticed that when I search for some specific topics, German websites tend to come up more often. Be it IT or cars, German message boards are well represented (and luckily I can read most of it).

As an Apple owner I hope Apple will implement this too. I live in a country where everybody communicates through WhatsApp unfortunately.

After peaking in 2008, Japan’s population has since shrunk steadily due to a declining birthrate. The country saw a record low of 771,801 births last year.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has set tackling the declining births as one of his top policy goals and pledged to secure annual funding of about 3.5 trillion yen ($25.2 billion) over the next three years for a new child care package, which includes child birth and rearing allowances and increased subsidies for higher education.

But they don't include chargers with their phones anymore, so they should be good, right?!

Old news.

At 33 watt (original power supply) it's extremely inefficient though. But considering it's 4 decades old; 33 watt was probably very economic back then.

They won't. Those lawsuits took years, and MS have been practicing the same shady business model for years since. It only got worse. Probably since the EU (and other governing bodies) are busy fighting Google, Apple and Facebook.
