Karma. I feel like that will push Lemmy in a way that isn't healthy.

the worst part is you'd almost always end commenting in a thread that gets deleted due to rules etc if you tried to get ahead of the curve and comment in a brand new post. I'm way more active here because I'm trying to help build the community.

They would be completely ruined if they were doing any of these things and proven to be doing them. Nothing to worry about for now.

Have you run a marathon this week? No? Your medical insurance rates are 2x until you resolve this problem.

How can we help? I'm glad to share some knowledge if anything doesn't make sense.

I have fun like this with my M1 Mac Mini. They refuse to put HDMI 2.1 on anything other than their buy up options so 4k60 HDR just isn't happening well. There have been a couple of adapters that will allow you to do so on a Mac mini but they've been "revised" shortly after the discovery to prevent it. I'd buy an M2 mini for my entertainment center but I'm not spending 4 figures on a media center/emulation PC lol

Probably framework. I think they are reading the writing on the wall with all of the Thinkpad fans I know either having purchased one or on preorder for the new ones.

Sometimes occasionally but they're probably never going to be cheap. Too hard/expensive to manufacture which is why folks like Samsung keep trying really hard with quantum dot LED panels.

That being said, I regret nothing about purchasing my LG C9 OLED TV a couple years ago. Works fantastic, looks fantastic and I pretty much never use the built in UI for anything by going to a Nvidia Shield for my content/streaming needs. I think the LG C series does an excellent job and it occasionally goes on sale during holidays/Black Friday.

Google Pixel phones (easily allows bootloader unlock and custom ROM if you need to but I can't be bothered until EOS most of the time)

Nothing Phone (same as above but with different light skin, interesting design and not Google if that bothers you)

Wow, this is much faster now that caches are built.

With Tomato Sauce

The campaign has some absolutely wild parts of it. It's worth playing through that if nothing else

Jraphics

Which only works if you have a product that doesn't suck. They should spend more money building their network out so it isn't 2002-era DSL oversubscribed ๐Ÿ˜‚

Some best buy stores have demos in the US where you can try it out for a bit. I honestly find the social aspects to be the most interesting part of VR (and I'm not a people person). A 10 minute demo isn't probably going to completely sell you on VR but they can answer questions etc.

It's coming from someone over on Kbin. Wonder if that's the motivation.

The good news is that they've clean room reverse engineered it and have a native PC version already available for download https://legendofdragoon.org/projects/severed-chains/

Not anymore. Rent has almost doubled where I'm at and South Florida seems to be worse

Makes sense, how would you resolve it without giving anyone centralized control to make Twitter or Reddit 2.0?

It's even more exciting now that they added full music and sound support as of a couple hours ago. I think I'm going to start my first run through in 20+ years

I remember when I played IoG and Terranigma years later and was super angry that I hadn't heard of either back in the day lol

The idea of a union sounds good but if they have anything to do with Communication Workers of America I'd vote against it. I saw so much sketchy stuff from them when I worked in a call center. A non-affiliated IT union would be better.

I haven't played project bean yet but if they ever get a decomp done and have a functional windows build I'll be playing that so fast everyone's head will spin

Does this problem still occur on the latest stable Jerboa build? I have a feeling it may be the breaking changes in 0.18.x+ causing this

I feel like everyone here just recently discovered this site in the last month ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sure, it's early days with Lemmy. I think it does a pretty decent job considering the orders of magnitude difference in dev time between Reddit and Lemmy.

do you want to primarily game on it or do you want it to be a great phone that can game? both are good options but we need to know use case to help make a good decision.

RCS messaging for iPhones. Apple is basically never going to do it because iMessage is a big part of the iPhone lock in.

Yeah, they're still on backorder since everyone (understandably) lost their minds when they dropped the current gen models. Should be cleared up by early next year.

things have come a long way in the last 5 years or so. i have a lot of bad things to say about Samsung software but updates/support is good now. that being said, I'm on a pixel as a primary device at the moment so YMMV

I got my invite by signing up on the website and they sent it via email.

how's it running after today's updates on lemmy.world?
