120mil? That’s pocket money for them.

I think you’re thinking of secret secret meetings.

I mean, my fridge (hitachi) has a condensation problem and was giving the error code thingy. The guys came down and quoted 1k+ to bring it back and fix it. I’m like. Literally can get a new fridge! At this point really, what should I do?

Edit: it’s a 9 year old fridge

I understand that some may view it as a status symbol, but in my opinion, iPhones are more practical than they may seem.

For me, the cost and specs of an Android device would need to be significantly better for me to consider switching from an iPhone. Additionally, iPhones tend to have a better resale value, which is a factor to consider.

While I won't argue about the user-friendliness of Android versus iOS, personally I prefer to stick with iOS due to my familiarity with it and the lack of added benefits that switching to Android would bring.

In my line of work in the creative/visual industry, I find that using a Macbook Pro is more beneficial not just because of its specs, but also because of the widespread use of Macs in my industry. It helps streamline my workflow and ensures compatibility with others.

When it comes to purchasing a device, I prefer to have a seamless experience without needing to worry about updating drivers or adjusting settings. The ease of use and reliability of a Mac is important to me in order to focus on my work without unnecessary technical issues.

I will avoid sleeping a metal spring bed as much as possible. I will go out of my way to buy 10x duck feather pillows and sleep on them. I will sleep on a cement floor if I have to. But metal spring beds are horrible for me, and i will avoid them.

My dumb ass read figure as finger and went wtf? Just go to a hospital.

Of your list, while there are multiple good games, I’m still waiting for the next great game that I can enjoy.

Sarcasm doesn’t travel well through text.

I still think its a bad idea. Because in my country, the government loves their apps. And being able to bypass the app store will mean that they will force you to install their own “app store”. This would also mean they can put more invasive features in their app.

Or perhaps I’m overthinking it and my government has the best interest for the people.

Dying isn’t free either

I’m still salty that its not available (the normal one) in alot of countries (asian). I had to get mine through a scalper last year. I am not proud of that, and disappointed in myself but I really wanted one.

While its no excuse for them to do this, I run my LG tv with no internet access for it. And I honestly prefer a “dumb” tv anyway.

You just convinced me to get protonmail. Now I gotta learn of its functions and stuff. It will make my month if you’re able to forward emails from gmail, and reply using the same @gmail handle.

I’m able to take a screenshot and translate this comment in the photos app in iOS.

Edit: I have no idea how good the translation is, but I’ve done it this way for things that needed translation.

That’s good to hear I think? I have been using Kasa products and getting annoyed that im unable to get anymore recently. Especially the fact that using 2 different apps just to control the devices from the same company is a little silly. Didn’t know why they have to make Tapo, but this should solve it.

If its Google, it would already been cancelled

For me, the OLED screen alone already justified the purchase.

I don’t have the OLED version but I would hands down get it if

  1. My wallet allows me to
  2. I didn’t already have my SD for more than a year.

However if you’re tight on budget, the lcd is a great not-so “little” device to kill time.

I think what would be cool is if you’re able to remove the sticks (especially the right one) and replace them with the touchpads without any hassle. Like a modular unit. And if the stick drifts, then just get a new one and pluck it back in.

It isn’t. Apple still bad for selling out, but won’t use chrome.

Singapore! This was before komodo however.

I’ve always thought they were slightly more expensive because they used LG/Samsung panels for their TV.

I avoided Samsung and it was a no brainer for me to get LG. My LG has been treating me well and doesn’t prompt me to get on the internet. And I got them for discounted prices as well, a 65”GX and 42?” C3.

You can have her completely.

I tried using SimpleTabGroups and I didn’t understand how to use it. Perhaps i’m coming from using Safari instead. Regardless, firefox is a very good browser and i’m using it on my PC!

I was against sideloading, because I’m in it for the walled garden and if governments were to use their own stalls to publish their apps, then, actually it doesn’t matter anymore! Our gov apps still invasive anyway, imo.

For the clueless, the particular app scans your face with various coloured screens being blasted through the phone screen, doesn’t matter if you have face ID enabled or not, its their own scan.

Power to sideloading.

I prefer to use my pocket wifi that uses sim card for data. Then I can share my data with my partner or/and friends.
