While that is interesting, you realize before the 4 years you mentioned, Trump did everything he's in trouble for doing. He also established the supreme court we have. If Biden randomly died his first 5 months, we still would be in a similar (if not the same) situation. Every person who made this happen, would still have their previously established power. Training someone new would not have stopped this inevitability.

Yup. Usually the device being charged can scale down the power throughput so it's not getting 60W+ if it's not able to handle it.

Here's another GUI tool that I used to migrate to my current instance. Kudos to both devs!

Framework FTW

As much as I love Castle, I hated the "I need to do this myself to save you" mentality. Took like three different versions until the last couple episodes and "ok let's work together". Then I think writer strike or maybe actor discrepancies and it ended in such a flat way.

I keep a daily journal whenever I go on vacations (especially trips abroad). While I do take photos throughout the trips, I'm not taking them constantly. So lots of little fun/interesting experiences pop up that aren't captured.

My memory isn't the best either, so when I think back on trips I tend to remember the big things versus the little ones. Journaling at the end of the day or in the morning helps me remember the little things. Also, what I was thinking throughout it all. Like being stranded in Rottenburg ob der Tauber after my train was cancelled. Or when a little dog in the park did a front foot handstand and peed backwards. I couldn't get my phone out in time, but I wrote that down ASAP.

Not sure if the image you used is super low quality, or the site hosting it is to blame. But it looks like a picture being shown on my late grandma's flip phone (the generic Walmart brand).

Those 1906 pills are quite nice. Sometimes overpriced compared to others, but usually a good CBD:THC ratio compared to some other capsule/pills. I usually get it for the microdose so it sucks when the other options are 20mg+.

I thought, "New Caledonia, I wonder how close to the French coast it is..." It's closer to Australia and no where near France. That island should have had it's independence long ago.

I actually just had strabismus surgery this past Thursday. I was definitely nervous before going into the operating room, but I've been under before for a tonsillectomy. As I was wheeled on my gurney into the OR, they gave me a "half dose" of something to calm me down, but I didn't really feel much.

Getting in, it was all about the prepping going on around me. Doctors, nurses, residents, etc. all doing their thing. I had these compression-type wraps put on my legs that would squeeze every so often to prevent blood clotting. IV was on the top of my left arm (so much tape and adhesive I now have a few bald spots from arm hair being ripped - I'm a guy if that helps). I had white circles placed on the front of my chest and top of my shoulders which I believe tracked my pulse and such (also took hair when removed).

Everyone was nice, but there was definitely an efficiency and routine to the whole setup. My type of surgery is done regularly in that part of the hospital, so it's nothing new for them.

When it came time to go under, I was given the "other half" of the sedating drug (not sure on the name) and an air mask was held over my face. I was told to keep breathing in deeply. I did it for like 2-3 minutes before a doctor told the guy holding my mask to "increase it, you're a bit low". Maybe that was nitrous? As they were doing that, my arms were being strapped down and I joked if I needed a safe word since this is my first time using straps. They said sure, pick one. Before I could say "pineapples" I was waking up in the post-op area.

Everything was very bright and I was definitely groggy, so I just closed my eyes and let myself come back to reality. The right eye was covered in bandages and a head wrap with sutures just dangling from the inside corner of my eye - that was super weird and caught on the bandage frequently. Eventually I could use my left eye without squinting too much. I was given ice chips and tissues to clear my mouth out from the gunk buildup. Movement was pretty limited with the IV still there and not being able to move my eyes much.

It took about 2 hours before my mom was let in (she was the +1), then another 30 minutes or so for the surgeon to come in to wash my right eye of blood and adjust the sutures. That was a 3x process which wasn't painful, but really uncomfortable. I'd look at a light, they'd measure the eye movement between left and right, then lay me back and tighten the suture. Rinse and repeat until the doc was confident. Another 1.5 hours or so and I was able to leave.

Not sure if it's normal but I'd say I was coherent and ready to wear normal clothes by the 1.5 hour mark after surgery. By the end, I could move, change clothes, talk, everything, but hospital policy was to wheel me out. If you want to know about recovery after, I'd be happy to share - I'm on day 4 now.

Even last week when we had the 3 days of 100+ heat? When it's above 85, I have terrible air circulation in my place and need to turn the AC on.

I spent way too much time yesterday playing Blackice. It's a FPS game in a tron-like world. Graphics are in line with the colors and blocky edges. It's not a super deep game, but it's really cool when all the colors are splashing around and monster/programs are everywhere. It's an indie built by I think just 2 guys. Plenty to explore, unique items and modifiers.

I've owen it for a bit, but noticed there were a few updates so I installed it again.

Also, Division 2 and Battlebit. There's a trend.

I have the newer M9. Really nice size for reading books and comics. I got the folio cover as well so I'll just walk around and watch movies/shows while doing chores. It's definitely not a fast tablet, but isn't terrible either. Browsing the web is fine, but it feels faster using my pixel 6a instead. Best part, it has a micro SD card slot. I've loaded it up with books, comics, shows, and movies. Going on airplanes is great with it.

If you use flower to vape, and own a dynavap (or know about it), 3mg might be taking 1.5 hits with half cbd/half thc flower? It really depends on each person. But I don't think it would put you out of sorts especially if you have a tolerance built up. Always best to be safe and plan a free night to test it out and not take more than one until you're ready.

I got a Lenovo M9 a couple months ago. It's not a powerhouse, but for streaming services/playing local video files it's amazing. Add in reading books and comics, it's a damn steal. Battery life is good, small size, and the folio cover is perfect for taking around the house. $150 without the cover is a great deal. I definitely recommend the folio case too. It slated for Android 13 this quarter as well.

Agreed. For such a cheap price, I think it hits a good spot.I regret a little not getting their gaming tablet - I didn't know it even existed during my research. Better specs in a similar form factor. But it wasn't enough regret to return or anything.

What's up fellow Flubs!

As many have said, Google has a good set of USB - earbuds. I recently switched to a paid of Sony C100 Bluetooth buds and they work great.

But the best USB-C earbuds I've used came from Essential (they made a phone years ago called the PH-1). The earbuds have amazing sound. The controls could be a lot better since it's just one button - no volume rocker. If you constantly pull your phone out, the cord will get a bit tangled. But the sound.... Whew I miss it. Also has a pretty universal earbud tip shape so you can replace with comply foam ear tips for comfort and noise reduction.

Hmm, I haven't had 3mg in awhile, but it might be a chill effect if you're not used to edibles. My tolerance is up a bit, so I tend to do a 5 CBD + 5 THC. Either 1:1 or 2:1 (cbd higher).

Looking good now!

Oh man I miss the PH-1. Mine got it's screen cracked so I switched to Pixel. Just such a satisfying weight and size for it. But at the end the battery life was rough.

I got the newer Lenovo M9 and it's great for the price. It can stutter at times, but comics, books, and stremio - no problems.

I tried searching for EVO but just came up with a pan/bowl type. Could you tell an uninformed fool (me) what is EVO?

Oh man, I should have known that. Thanks for the assist!

I'm at a non-profit and we work 9-5 with, technically, a 30 minute lunch break. So when we take a PTO day, it is 7.5 hours instead of 8. I'm remote though, so I just work through lunch or take that time to cook something.

I'd say house arrest is the most likely sentence. Concurrent too, and probably not all 4 years. Secret Service will never work for a prison sentence.

I went with a Cotopaxi 35L for my solo travels. It's been amazing! I highly recommend.

Oh the Android apps part is great. Best of both worlds kind of thing. Have you tried anything with Linux programs that can be loaded onto it as well? (Or maybe that's only some ChromeOS products)

Ah, I really wanted to go the zenphone route, but when my pixel 3 (I think) died, I went the cheap avenue with a 6A. I was about to travel to Scotland and needed a decent phone at a reasonable price. If I had the funds I'd have gone with your choice.

Great write up! Definitely filled in the info I only know a little about.

Do you have a recommendation for how OP can change things so you're satisfied with your privacy?
