You should look into the history of WHY Hamas formed in the first place. Palestinians have been forcibly relocated and had their land taken since the 40's. I will say, is there any justification for the destruction and genocide Israel is committing? They've destroyed practically ALL infrastructure in Gaza including hospitals, they've got snipers shooting kids, targeting UN aid workers. Hamas and hostages are convenient excuses for them to keep doing what they started in the 40's - killing an entire native population and taking their land.

I drive an EV for work, any my biggest gripe is the touchscreen. What is wrong with buttons. Why must everything be hidden behind a menu I have to navigate on a touchscreen. It feels less safe, frankly. In my own car I have muscle memory for each button and can do things like skip songs or adjust the AC without looking away from the road... But in the EV I can't.

I prefer the headphone jack is on the bottom, next to the charging port. That way, I can put the ports down while my phone is in my pocket if i'm working, so nothing gets into the ports. Then, if I'm just keeping my phone in my pocket normally, with the ports up, my headphones can plug in without problems.

Any UBI system worth it's salt wouldn't be providing a flat amount, it should be based on regional cost of living. So if prices all went up, UBI would have to go up as well.

I think it's important to question the idea that the US has "always rejected fanaticism". Sure, our state doesn't want to be viewed that way. I just think that looking at our history shows a lot of fanatic shit, from the way settlers treated the native population, to all of our conflicts in the 1900's to now.

I don't get the wrinkles out

Perhaps, we should be more concerned with maintaining and keeping relevant current hardware, over constant production of more powerful hardware just for the sake of doing it. We've hit a point of diminishing returns in terms of the value we're actually being given by each new generation. Even the PS4 and Xbox One were able to produce gorgeous graphics.

Deserving of the guillotine? What? This question doesn't feel sincere, and I wonder whether you're really going to be trying to understand other people's reasoning. I'll bite though. We have enough homes for everyone to have their own home, but a very large number of people rent or are homeless. Big corporations buy up all the property and convert it to rentals so even those who can afford to buy property have a very hard time finding anything, and what's available has jacked up prices. We're talking people like blackrock. THOSE people can burn in hell, those people are taking advantage of every single person who rents from them. It's a scale, you know. Blackrock is evil - my grandpa who rents out his old house is not, even if I disagree with the fact that he's renting at all. Charging someone enough to pay the mortgage and give you a paycheck is well... I mean it's demanding more money than what the property is worth from someone. They'd be better off without you there as a middle-man. At best you're taking advantage of a small number of people, at worst you're literally blackrock. There's no reason a single person should not have their own home, because we already have enough homes to go around.

It's hard to make direct "better" or "worse" comparisons between distros. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. They're really similar and offer similar beginner-friendly experiences. I disliked that popOS doesn't use Grub, I ran into issues getting the bootloader to show my windows drive.

I am one broken leg away from being homeless and losing everything, and it's been like that my entire working life. I've never been able to make enough to actually save. Currently I have -100 in the bank and some debt I'm trying to pay off on top of that. My rent is literally half my income.

It's not "retro gaming" but that doesn't make emulating switch games a bad thing. I dump and emulate my own switch games off my own switch because they tend to perform better via emulator on a PC. It's really unfortunate to see Nintendo shut down what ultimately is the best way for us to preserve switch games long-term.

The NVIDIA drivers are a constant source of problems compared to AMD. I've had updates completely break some games, so that if I want to play my whole library of games I have to alternate between driver versions.

I will never stop recommending Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Madoka Magika.

Why? Nice planet we've got here, we could focus on preventing it becoming inhabitable due to climate change instead.

Get rid of capitalism. Which, we won't.

I take issue with the entire concept of renting, from the very core. A landlord is a middle-man between the person living in a building, and ownership of said building. The landlord having to to the maintenance doesn't make living in a rental a better experience, it just means more dealing with a middle man any time you need something fixed. It would be pretty nice if I could just call a plumber when my toilet has issues instead of hoping that the leasing office actually sends a repair-man this time. It's not fun having to pick up mail at the post office for ten months because the leasing office and the post office are arguing back and forth over who's responsible for fixing the apartment mailboxes after they were vandalized. Rentals will charge you money every month for a pool you don't want or use even though it's closed 9 months of the year. All renting has ever meant for me, has been a complete lack of control of what I'm allowed to do in my living space, and a constant fear of eviction should something go wrong, and landlords that do everything they can to never repair anything, or maintain the property at all. But onto the individuals that rent out a house or two, they still aren't adding value to living in a rental. All they do is sit in the middle and collect that extra cash on top. It's not that they're not doing any work at all, but being a landlord is not a job, and it's not doing the people living in that space any favors. People can't afford to buy because companies like blackrock are buying up all the property to make rentals, and upcharging all of the property. I'm not saying, either, that there shouldn't be options for temporary living, but our current rental model is so very clearly not it. Do you have any idea how much it costs to rent month buy month? My 700 square foot apartment is over $3,000 on that plan.

Skip work and take a nap all day

I don't make very much money, and the phones I buy are usually between $100-200. The only way to do that with iphone is to get a phone that's both old and used. There's no new options in that price range at all. However, even if there was, or if I just bought used, it doesn't offer me any benefit to swap. My experience with ios was never very good back when I did use it, it restricts how you can use your phone really heavily. I love being able to install apps from F-droid or my web browser, and changing launchers gives you a lot of customization of your home screen. I also really value that once your android device isn't supported with software updates anymore, the community can still develop up to date android versions for those devices so you can use newer versions of android than the manufacturers intended

Danganronpa, honestly any of them. Once you know the story, who the killers are, and the twists, it quickly loses it's charm. The only way afterwards is to watch other people play it for the first time.

The meat people eat is produced by killing animals. That's exactly what is being done, on insane scale. Billions of animals being treated as products.

Really unfortunate that Halo Infinite is getting kernel level anti-cheat.

Respectfully, I understand the idea of voting for a liberal candidate as harm reduction, and have done so in the past. But every time I have done so, such as with the last election, the government causing harm has continued, to an insane extent. Voting is one political action you can take, but it is not everything you should be doing, and I believe in having standards for candidates I'm willing to give my vote. Biden is not one of them.

Right now for me, that's Persona 3 Portable. These games have their issues, but the stories really make you care about the characters!

Probably depends on the delivery service partner. They have slightly different hours from company to company.

You have to buy an adapter to usb

I think that there's not just one reason we can list as why she lost. It's complicated. The young white male demographic specifically, voted primarily Republican - which makes sense given that they're being marketed to by republicans (think people like Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate, people like that). I almost didn't vote for her over Gaza - and I'm sure a lot of people didn't vote over Gaza. In regards to "All Lives Matter", I don't think so. I never got the impression that that "movement" was really about saying "Not just black people matter!", it was about being an opposing statement to the BLM movement. The words "Black Lives Matter" do not say that other people don't matter - and the movement is about police violence against black people. "All Lives Matter" was made to deny the recognition that this racial violence happens. I've seen it used a lot to defend police (and let's be honest it has ties to the whole "Blue Lives Matter" thing).

A lot is going to vary depending on the exact game you play, strategies and game mechanics can be super different. The best way is to find a character that you really like and focus on having a good time. It's a genre built off of learning from failure, so you've got to try your moves in different situations and see what works. You can practice moves against bots to find what situations they work well in, and plenty of people post combos you can learn online. Just gotta lose a lot.

It's already too late, his inaction thus far has allowed everything that's happening in gaza. He can't take back the lives that have been lost and the suffering that has been caused.

I have a small windows install on a second SSD that I dual boot with. Most of my games work on Linux so I rarely have to boot over.

Which is really less because of the consoles themselves and more because of the priorities of AAA game studios

Is it not universal or basic to provide enough to meet the same standard of living wherever you go? If that's to be the case it cannot be the same everywhere.

Nothing. I don't vote for people who fund genocide.
