Read that as peloton and was incredibly confused

People can't afford Ford anymore

Reality, in which the ford f series is the most sold vehicle for the past 42 years

Pick one

Ford is moving its prices upwards because people want and pay for what they're offering, very clearly given the statistics we have. Also to say that tesla is the brand regular people can afford when both brands have ev trucks and one has a starting msrp almost 30k more than the other is kinda hilarious.

Lastly, ford has a vehicle with an msrp of 23,920 while the lowest priced tesla vehicle is 38,890 dollars. Even taking gas savings over 5 years into account, ($4,223 if you happen to live near my area and drive about 10k miles per year) the tesla is significantly more expensive. Clearly, tesla is not the company concerned with the common man. To make that point even more clear though, one needs only to compare tesla to the Korean and Chinese EVs that are being offered at significantly lower prices.

Or alternatively, run and adblocker and literally give the creators you watch 1$ per month and you're still supporting them 100 times more than turning on ads would, and you still get to keep some semblance of privacy.

Maverick.

According to the American consumer, they are affordable, or else they wouldn't be the most popular new car.

Also, you were the one that brought up affordability.

I drive a 90s volvo and you can pry it from my cold dead hands. I have no intention of buying a new vehicle any time soon. It has nothing to do with me being out of touch and everything to do with statistics concerning vehicle sales.

Buying premium would absolutely do more than turning on ads, but it still would be nowhere near the efficacy of direct support. Most creators have methods of direct support, and those that don't can easily be petitioned to start. For a creator that uploads once a year, perhaps you donate once per upload. Also, I don't think it has anything to do with managing subscriptions and everything to do with dropping a little bit of money when you notice you've been enjoying something.

I don't know why people are downvoting you tho.

Does this surprise literally anybody? This is the most nothingburger article ever. Like, yeah, no shit the three largest, richest, and most populous countries make up the majority of fossil fuel expansion.

You mean the game devs that they take 30% from in a contract the devs agree to in order to list their game on the largest PC gaming store?

Besides that, steam has an incredibly low financial requirement to start selling your games on their platform. $100 usd per game (at least in the US) and you get it back if your game sells enough copies (100 maybe? I forget tbh.) It's a great platform for indie devs which is why we've seen indie PC gaming boom so much in the past decade or so especially.

Why? This has literally always been the case, but now they're going into it actively telling you that this is the case. Seems like a step in the right direction to me.

Trumps tariffs were intended to spark growth in domestic manufacturing, not Mexican manufacturing. Not to mention the fact that he also absolutely fucked over a huge portion of Midwest farmers with that choice also can't possibly be seen as "good".

There's this thing known as inertia. If Biden were to reverse the Trump administration tariffs, China doesn't have any reason to remove their tariffs on the US (which were made in response to Trumps tariffs) but would still benefit, especially with the huge rise of tensions between the US and China over Taiwan.

The only reason the tariffs are still in effect is that it wouldn't do anything good for the US to repeal or to have repealed them, not because they were a good idea.

There's a difference between attacking unarmed civilians at a music festival and war. The terrorists should always be condemned, and you're painting with far too broad of a brush here.

There's a difference between freedom fighters and murderers.

How do ai-bitch and crypto-cunt sound?

Twitter now is what 4chan was then in many ways. This should be disconcerting in the least.

This is not true. The extra methyl group makes it cross the blood brain barrier faster. The extra potency is from the drug itself being different from dexampphetamine, the active ingredient in adderall, however it is important to note that at doses below 50 mg methamphetamine and 100mg adderall, effects are almost entirely the same, with the serotoninergic (is this a word ?) aspects of meth only coming from high doses.

Do not recommend either.

This is total bullshit. This is a problem we face because of shitty zoning laws and capitalism, not population. Besides that, UN projections indicate population topping off at 15 billion before pulling back and eventually reaching replacement rate around 12 billion. Without any technological advancement, and only advancement of logistics and society, the earth has plenty of space to feed and house that many humans.

To add to this, buy their merch and physical copies of their albums. Also, go to shows! Lots of small bands would love a bigger crowd and can be seen for cheap or free.

You have to be ~a top 1% individual for BMI to not work for you and that's literally just what an outlier is lmaooo.

Carrrrrllllll

I mean their unwillingness to do anything about the market abuse and rampant child-gambling aside, the lootboxes for purely cosmetic items are one of the least predatory ways to do microtransactions. It's not like EA where the only way to unlock entire characters in some games is to grind for hundreds of hours or pay, or like COD where they took the lootbox idea and made it actually affect (multiplayer) gameplay

Petition to stop calling things that are 'trash' 'mid'. 'Mid' means middle. I would not be upset by watching something that's mid but I wouldn't be happy about it either. I take it that if you can't be bothered to watch it even for free, it's probably just 'trash'

This comment just shows how hilariously out of your element you are lmaooo. Imagine, first of all, thinking that the deep web is the dark web, secondly that you need to access the dark web in order to find deep fakes (Are you blind?)

I honestly couldn't care less about this and think deepfake porn is not a good thing but like... it's out there and it's incredibly easy to find.

You could literally go search "Taylor Swift deepfake porn" on Google and find it first result lmao

No there are three. You missed the guy grumbling in the corner about academia being in shambles (in the US at least)

I think he understands that and is calling the French colonists foreigners to the native first nations peoples...

Or you're the only one here with a vast misunderstanding of communism...

Multiple coups, stolen elections, entire systems of control and oppression by American corporations (banana republics), etc.

In Cuba they literally went from super racist and clinging to Spain, to multicultural and trying to get independence from Spain, then back to Jim Crow type racism because of US influences.

Latin America also has a rich and beautiful history of democracy and relative cultural unity so it's still surprising to see all these dictators come to power. Almost every single country (if not every single one) that revolted against Spain from 1808-1825 ended up becoming a democracy. We need to put this thought at the forefront so as to avoid dictatorial strongmen.

Why aren't they on the list currently? What is stopping the process from being allowed for all citizens of other nations? Other than bloodlust, that is...

Fun fact about "donating" blood, at least in the US, is that the blood donation companies turn around and sell it to the hospitals to make money lmaooo.

Defensive for saying you're wrong? OK :)

I literally verified my comment in 22 seconds by looking up the exact search term I gave you.

What's the deep web? You seem really educated about it from your willingness to use the term.

People like the option to have already installed equipment just not work if they don't pay the subscription? Like the car already has the features and the company is saying "we included this equipment in the price of your lease/purchase already but if you'd like to use it you have to keep paying more."

Even in the case of a lease, this is just anti-consumer bullshit

Almost definitely worse lol. We have the option to modify the genome of the plants we eat in order to make then better in every way and still some people are like "no that's icky because science".

This is a vast oversimplification of about 70 years of massacres, death, and hatred on both sides. For the past 20 years or so, Israel has been incredibly brazen in its destruction of Palestine and colonization of Palestinian lands. At the same time, Palestine is literally controlled by a terrorist organization that is not even trying to attack military targets and instead seems set on some sort of vengeance (while using Palestinian citizens as human shields). So neither are good, and both seem set on genocide. If you had to pick one, stand with Palestine but denounce Hamas.

Dude you're paying a mortgage payment to not even own a car. Pardon me if I don't take your financial advice. Glad you're doing well for yourself, but most people aren't able to afford a Porsche.

I was confused at first trying to read your comment and just wanted to let you know that in this context it's spelled 'morale'. Like "The team had high morale."

The way you spelled it is like "That man has a good moral compass."

I don't mean to be rude, just wanted to let you know.

"Trafficking" in this case is being used to refer to aiding an undocumented migrant, not like sex trafficking, as far as I can tell.
