That's one of the most important things about this in my opinion. Enough people moved over to Lemmy/kbin from this incident to kind of pave the way and help improve the platforms so that the next time reddit screws something up and a huge influx of people get a new first impression of the fediverse it will be a more positive experience for them.
Would it be possible to have the error page when you are being attacked/there is an outage point to some other lemmy instances to go to?
I think that could be a big help if there is an issue when a new user tries to check out .world for the first time. They will at least have a link to click on to check out what lemmy is like on another instance and maybe sign up there too.
It will start to stabilize eventually, but we're probably not going to see that anytime soon!
But the constitution also does not say that we shouldn't provide aid, so I guess it would be unconstitutional to not provide aid.

Don't you want users to be on the platform as long as possible to maximize ad revenue? If this was just to force people to pay for verification, why wouldn't they make that tier unlimited? I honestly can't even believe this is real.
My understanding is that they are only getting paid the minimum wage while they are actively servicing an order. If they are online but waiting for something to come in they don't get anything.
So what you are saying is that given the fact that the world will not just abandon capitalism, overpopulation is indeed a real non-myth problem.

I'm sure you're already aware of the many articles and scientific journals discussing the problem of overpopulation but you intentionally choose to ignore them to push your narrative.
