Almost 12 years for me. Used Baconreader then Sync. Supported the protests in June, and bailed in July when they cut API access. Lemmy gives me what I need in an online community, without the aggression and toxicity that took over Reddit. I feel like I have gained back time to study/ read etc that I used to spend doom-scrolling.
I was so confused, I thought it was some ridiculous face swap at first glance...
Oh, same here. Our eldest daughter sat through playthroughs of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Skyrim, Fallout, Portal 2 etc... Now she's old enough to start her own Skyrim playthrough. The youngest is still so small she thinks she is playing the game if you give her a dead controller/keyboard, so looking forward to many more hours of family gaming.
OMG, helping my kid through home schooling during lockdown and I found out what this word meant.... Made my brain go flumph just trying to pronounce it correctly! ;)
