This game looked like a scam before release. The developers copied art style and their trailer scenes from other games, and never shown gameplay videos. In the trailers it looked like AAA, but was developed by a studio without required experience. There were doubts the game existed at all. Well, it existed, but was far from what trailers shown.

Sync and Connect are pretty similar, but I prefer Sync. I like its design a bit more, also it is more customizable and has more features I use: customization of sorting for every feed and subscription, option to hide nested comments by default, button showing parent comment without need to scroll up. Also it can track comment count changes.

I think people are talking about Sync because it has ads and its pricing is too high.

The Justice pic: a man yells at the kids stealing apples from his garden, while the kids are running away, loosing all the apples.

I think it's because the story about a missing submersible is unusual, and moreover, it's about a rescue attempt. This makes it more interesting than many other, albeit more dreadful, news stories.

When the possibility to block instances will be implemented?

Yes. Although it's possible to learn programming without knowing English, English is required for those who wants to be good programmers. All documentation is in English, naming and comments should be in English too, otherwise it would be hard to maintain code for developers from other countries.

I tried only Jerboa and Liftoff. Liftoff has a customizable UI, all the features I need, and tells when a post or comment was made (unlike Jerboa).

I hope they will return the original Angry Birds series to the stores.

It's because lemmy.world invalidated tokens. Re-login fixes the issue.

It just teleports. This proves when chess was invented it was far ahead of time.

It's obvious. UFO takes the bishop.

I used the official app, but still supported the protest.

I enabled everything but personalized extension recommendations. I want Mozilla to know how the browser is used, so they can improve it based on statistics rather than their assumptions.

There's "Block community" in the three dots menu.

I prefer another framing:

Ad placeholders are displayed in the slide view. And Sync doesn't ask to pay for using it. It just provides payed options in its settings.

Thanks a lot for your work.

Liftoff, it's functional and looks good. Waiting to try Sync for Lemmy, though.

It depends on country. There were countries where indentured servitude was for entire life, except for cases when a landlord freed a serf or a serf bought own freedom. Landlords could buy, sell and judge serfs. Example: Russian Empire, where serfs had no rights.

Some time ago Firefox started eating tons of RAM. I googled a bit and found it was actually AdBlock Plus eating RAM, so I switched to uBlock Origin. But not all people switched to another extension, some of them switched to anotger browser.

I mean blocking all communities from an instance by a user. Currently, it's implemented on a client level in a few clients, but it obviously doesn't work for the web UI. Blocking all users from a certain instance is not that useful, I guess.

I tried to deselect Undefined, but it stayed selected after I saved the changes.

I live in Ukraine and I hope those people in the submersible will be rescued.

Somehow it turned into blacks vs whites, which is not ok for me.

Mozilla is payed for setting Google as a default search engine. That doesn't contradict Firefox vs Chromium claim.

Thats an overgeneralization. Some white peoples were enslaved while not all black peoples were slaves. The question is more complex than presented.
