I've used linux for 20 years and was generally happy. I always used my main rig to play games, so I kept windows since my tries to switch to linux for gaming ended unsatisfying. Last October I decided to get rid of ms products and said goodbye to windows for good. Gaming on linux today works great. I am constantly amazed how great everything works and happy pretty much every time I turn on the PC. A big thank you to everyone involved in linux development!

People always assume that ai will still be able to function when it develops agency. What if it becomes obsessed with deep fake furry porn or whatever and completely loses focus on human extinction?

Both lotr 1 and 2 were great games. Really sad that part 3 killed the franchise.

Amen

I'm not sure I get it, maybe because I'm not a native speaker. So you said something like 'Great job buddy, that was very much not good!'?

Most political songs belong to more extreme political views, I'd say. Thus they're divisive and are more prone to angry music styles. Most people seem to prefer music that makes them feel good, so non political songs are more succesful. There are political feel good songs, 'we are the world' comes to mind. So I don't think its a conspiracy of record labels to keep the masses docile. Plus with streaming services the big labels loss influence, but things have not changed much.

Thanks that makes a lot more sense. I try to strike a balance, but focusing on the positive sounds gold. I'll give it a try.

Gog.com sells 1+2 for 2€ right now as well. So not as cheap, Lords of magic was another great game. Edit: confused Lords of magic with masters of magic, the latter is great, I don't actually know the former.

Paper manuals were great, some games had other cool stuff like cloth maps or metal figurines. Todays cheap always available games are cool as well though.
