Bleurgh!

So if I am reading this correctly, the problem is that UK students are not interested in going abroad (weak foreign language skills) and many Continental European students want to come to the UK (as almost everyone is learning English).

This means the UK has to pay more money than it receives.

But with this money, they would be 'buying' the chance to hold the interest of highly educated young people, who might love the British way of life and come back to work in the UK...

Sounds like just another step into economical and cultural irrelevancy.

One side clearly is the aggressor here. To pick their side is not a good look and makes other countries question China's intentions.

They seem to be confused about more than that.

Blue guy: ...in the conditions of the war that we declared

Old guy: You mean the war that was declared AGAINST US

Blue: Yes, that is what I said.

Later:

Blue: We should be ready to threaten the US directly. What are we waiting for?

Old: If we weren't ready, we would not have started this.

Well, who could have seen it coming?

Just about anybody, would be my guess.

I bought the PSVR1 at launch back in 2016, excited to finally BE in a virtual world. And for some games, I was absolutely blown away by the immersion. Skyrim, Dirt and RE were awesome in VR. Especially Skyrim was everything I was looking for.

I waited and hoped for more true games but all that kept coming was mostly short 'experiences' that felt like early 2000s shovelware, just in VR.

The best VR games were not Sony games but mostly third party games remade for VR.

When the PSVR2 came out, I decided to wait and see if Sony had learned their lessons and had at least many deals with third party studios to remake existing games in VR.

For now, it does not look that way, and a few exclusive tech demo games and some years-old PC ported games just do not justify buying a PSVR2.

If you look at older posts, they too are written like a 14-year old girl would write.

I am afraid OP is serious...

Shouldn’t the hats and slogan say MAGAA this time?

I mean, Trump had 4 years already.

And once they are staring daggers at you, be sure to follow up with calling them 'typical over-emotional southerners without self control'.

The PS2 is the best Sony system to me.

Back when it came out, it was so much better than everything else up to this point.

This, coupled with many games that started fanchises and/or were highly stylish and creative, and had new Equipment (GuitarHero, SingStar, EyeToy) make it the GOAT.

Ah yes. This is how the company apparently justifies it. Right in the article.

South Korea will now only send weapons that maim and terrify.

Tried to watch the movie last week, but I only made it halfway through. The stupidity by almost everyone was just too much to bear.

Concerning the language issue, it does not matter that a language is "globally niche".

If people want to migrate to a specific country long term, the spoken language has to be learned to become a member of society and prevent the forming of parallel societies.

Depends on the situation. In the corporate world I watch everything I say. When alone or with friends, not very much.

Don't beat yourself up too much for the behaviours and humor of your past. Times change, people grow. Sometimes a behaviour sticks, and thats ok too. We are still human.

Cue, 30 seconds of annoying intro music

It is really hard to find good mobile games.

Most games are just blatant pay to win fronts. I especially despise those "idle whatever" style games where you wait for your 'money' to rake up. Boring stuff.

With smartphones getting more and more powerful, I miss sophisticated games on it. And I am not talking Skyrim here. Even most stuff we could play on Newgrounds 15 years ago blows most of the shit in the store out of the water.

There is just not a big enough market for it, it seems.

Slow is relative, but some Alternative songs come to mind

Pearl Jam - Alive

Bloodhound Gang - Fire Water Burn

Horrible, I really feel for him.

Suffocating the person you have loved for so many years because they have begged you to must be just so heartwrenching.

And to think after that horrible ordeal, you have to deal with all the legal aftermath and be branded a murderer...

Just commenting to let you know that you are not alone in your confusion.

To me, most of her songs are pleasant but forgetable.

She seems like just one of many female Pop artists with a bit of girl-next-door charm. Maybe that charm is her appeal?

Maybe she is a witch?

Who knows.

Whilst I agree with some of your points, the notion that Europe "may be bad at migration" and being "shit" to others whilst protecting their culture comes of as uninformed at best and holier than thou preachy at worst.

No one is under the illusion that a migrant has to speak perfectly. But they should be competent enough to function in order to integrate into the society.

I have plenty of experience in my social circle where this is not the case. Those people rely on friends and family when it comes to simple tasks such as doctor appointments.

Very fitting.

Education and equal opportunity provides more compelling life options then just staying at home raising kids.

The main problem is, that these options are a mere theory for many when two people in a household have to work to make ends meet.

The raising of kids is then just something that comes on top of the existing burdens.
