Nice of then to make sure you cant accidentally blow up your new razor because you assumed the old cable would work if it fit.

I dont think this is the case. I feel like there just is a much wider gap because some people grow up without a computer (they may have one but not see the use of it) and others do. I bet you'd be surprised both at how non-tech-savvy and at how tech-savvy some genZ-ers are.

I have had people asking me for help because their "keyboard was capitalizing everything" (caps lock was on) or being amazed by touch typing. But there are also many people who are (at least somewhat) tech-savvy and it's not so few people either.

Of course it does. OP asked multiple questions, this was sipposes to answer why they used KDE instead of Gnome. I personally think Arch would have the advantage of having the newewst drivers, Proton version etc. available.

Honestly, what does this change? For paid users nothing, and the free version was always unusable with you not being able to individually select songs.

Plugging in a random cable from some random manufacturer is not a thing that most people would consider doing. (Furthermore, I doubt that any 220V cable would fit, these connectors on the picture are smaller than they look).

You kind of learn some English along the way while programming. At the beginning, you just memorize the commands and most of them use rather basic words anyway. Everything you name (functions/variables) you could write in your native language. Also, autocompletion helps...

CVE score of heartbleed was 7.5, the score of this XZ backdoor is 10....

Yeah because they are standardized. However, these are too big to fit in that razor and the only reason these cables are interchangable is because they follow that standard.

You use iMessage, but that is an Apple-specific thing and can't even be used on Android phones. Also, Apple does the whole "green bubble blue bubble" thing you got going on and deliberately doesnt support RCS (which would bring stuff like image support to SMS). So we need a messenger than can be used on both iPhones and Android phones. WhatsApp was initially the most popular and thats why it still is.

Half a teaspoon of mustard to any creme-based sauce. People dont think it will taste good but once you try it... Doesnt matter if you dont like mustard on its own. But it just adds that different flavor, similar to how salt changes it, without wanting the dish to taste like salt.

Except I have cups in my kitchen that are double the size of other cups and I dont know which ones to use.

This is just a question. WTF

... that you CANT see through walls? Seems like a downgrade to me...

I see what you did they're at the end ;)

I'd rather drive 130 km/h than 80 mph...

Your honour, our client can't have intent because they're demonstrably criminally insane, we know because we caused that insanity". Not in that many words, but to that effect.

That's completely made up, either by you or by another person. What they actually say is that Israel's intent is to defend against the armed attacks of the Hamas, not to commit a genocide.

More like: "Your honor, our client is just trying to defend themselves, they are not doing this to commit a genocide"

Because OP implied that the contract said 17$ and he had just not noticed (because he was promised 17.50$ in the interview). In that case, it is false that he has a right to the reamining 50ct per hour.

Using an IDE definety IS programming.

While flying to NY for a week, I saw some cities on the airplane map that I remember because it was weird to me that there is a "London" in the USA, or a "Berlin". Apparently, Berlin (New Hampshire) is a city of around 10k inhabitants...

I mainly know big cities and the names of some states.

Would that actual save you? Because, I thought the radiation also kills peoples far outside of the shockwave range...

We should focus on the circumference-to-height ratio.

They are just using the interests that this frozen capital generates and using that (instead of continuing to pay the interests to the Russians).

Thats basically me on a 14h flight. I'f take headphones if I wad allowed to also have my phone. Otherwise, just my phone and listen to music (I have my favorites playlist auto-downloaded at all times).

(Serious) question: How do you stand not being able to select individual tracks? I honestly would rather listen to my music in any of the free frontend apps rather than being limited to that extent...

You literally dont have to pay for that. You can choose to not do that. It would be pretty dumb of you to do that but it's possible.

Not quite. The thing is, gender identities is a complex topic with vastly different (political) opinions. To objectively explain it, you would have to present the different views and how some people believe this and others believe that. However, children don't do well with these multiple realities, most would most likely ask you "Well, which one is true?". That, however, is a political opinion.

I therefore think it should be up to the parents to educate their kids in that regard, according to how they see fit, and not up to the institutions, at least not until kids are old enough to reflect about their political views and form their own opinion upon being presented with the topic in an objective way.

Perhaps their stack is on Windows 2005 Server

I don't think you would be able to tell the difference between people your age and people that are significantly younger.

Yeah but do you think people just drop windows and don't move to any OS afterwards?

Its not like the few mosquitoes we have would be smart enough to enter my room through the sides of a lightly tilted window.

Thats someones interpretation, certainly not yours either. You could say that anything you do "interferes" with something you would otherwise do. Ate a store-bought sandwich? That "interefered" with the way your brain is wired to hunt the food yourself.

I see two issues with that:

  • No liability. Got your food 2 hours late? Better yet: Didn't get your food at all? Guess you lost that money.

  • Pricing. If drivers are able to make their own prices, they will probably start undercutting each other, resulting in very low fees for the drivers. Also, it would be very intransparent to userd how much the delivery will cost.

Lots of websites with menus on the left!

Can you send an example? I've only seen these foldout side bar menus.

"Can I get that salad medium-rare please?"

There is a split in gen Z: The ones who didnt use a computer growing up and those that did have one (and also the time to mess around with it). But I feel like you cant group them together.

1 more...

Nah that doesnt count. It cant be just one grain thick (from the side), it has to be roughly cone-shaped.

Generation Z rarely uses computers and knows nothing about them, compared to other generations

I disagree. In Gen Z, there are those that use computers regularly and those that don't. There is a larger gap between clueless and tech-savvy. But the one's that do use a computer are genrally more tech-savvy than other generations, while the majority of other generations' computer users are just getting by with minimal knowledge (how files are organized, some specific software like office and not much more).

Start asking people about PC components or programming (don't count those that learned it university or at their jobs) and you will quickly realize that your best bet is gen Z.

Every time, a good 75% of people stand up before it's allowed and it annoys me every time.

Yeah you also cant outrun the shockwave but assumimg you were 9ft outside of the shockwave at all times (traveling outwards at the speed of the shockwave), you would still die, correct?
