Per Wikipedia:

According to the University of the People, they charge no tuition fees but students must pay some administrative fees to cover course assessments, ranging from $2,460 for an associate's degree (two years) to $4,860 for a bachelor's degree (four years). These include processing fees for applications and final exam assessments.

The university does not participate in federal financial aid programs, but it does offer scholarships to eligible students

And then there are prebiotics, but what's a postbiotic?

If you have a library card they may use the Libby app for ebooks and audiobooks. My apologies for a non-piracy answer.

Or catching the same movie in different places over the course of a month before HBO changed its lineup.

Their podcast ads are the worst. "Why take care of everyday things when you can pretend to gamble!?!"

It's Beth Dutton

"But with dogs, we do have "bad dog." Bad dog exists. "Bad dog! Bad dog! Stole a biscuit, bad dog!" The dog is saying, "Who are you to judge me? You human beings who’ve had genocide, war against people of different creeds, colors, religions, and I stole a biscuit?! Is that a crime? People of the world!" "Well, if you put it that way, I think you’ve got a point. Have another biscuit, sorry." Eddie Izzard, Glorious

41 and I need to figure out how to find a doctor. But it was the memes that helped me figure myself out.

I missed the bus; and that is something I will never ever ever do again

I've passed out twice while high but it was in combination with alcohol and while urinating... so not the same experience

That was my 5th favorite ska band

I'm not a gamer but I do enjoy Real Civil Engineer's youtube channel, he's played Baba Is You a few times.

Don't forget the song from Harry Belafonte (who also died this year) that was recorded for The Smothers Brothers but didn't see the light of day until 1993

I tend to switch back and forth from Thunder to Liftoff and back. I like the layout and gestures of Thunder but Liftoff allows me to share memes directly from the app. That's a surprisingly rare feature.

It's always strange when I realize I've been a fan of an ongoing band for over half my life.

Or a barrel

"And no one's really clear about Tommy's job description but it's pretty clear he's vital to the whole damn operation"

Frank Turner - I Knew Prufrock Before He Got Famous

Audrey II isn't so picky.

The other day I was telling a coworker half my age that this was my favorite song through much of high school. She'd never heard of them.

Stone Temple Pilots - Plush (1992) https://youtu.be/V5UOC0C0x8Q?si=mMNFS95WTo86HY1-

I've always loved the line "how strange it is to be anything at all."

When choosing a music player I went with an favorite from my dial-up days, Foobar2000. It's pretty no frills... and I couldn't find Winamp.

You also need to think about the kind of food qe're talking about. Milk has a date after which the product my start to turn and curdle. Dried pasta has a date after which... the quality might suffer a little? Fruit goes mushy and baked goods mold. The dates put on these items are designed to limit liability of the company(s) providing them. You don't put 4 weeks on a bottle of milk thinking it will turn at 4 weeks and 1 day, you put 3 weeks on it knowing that it gives you leeway, not only for time, but also quality of storage. If you buy a bottle of milk but it takes a couple hours to get it back into refrigeration, of course it will affect the life span. And no one is talking about giving away bloated canned goods. Dented cans are most often sent back to the warehouse, especially if the dent is on a rim or seal.

Not that I want to forget the person but I'd like to dissociate some memories so I can better enjoy the song again

Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks https://youtu.be/ghb6eDopW8I

It's not big, romantic love, it's everyday happiness in what you have.

Of Montreal - Neat Little Domestic Life

The River got me into KGATLW. I'll check that out.

Chickens have some of the most mesmerizing eyes

I am in constant awe of the talent of Mike Patton, not in his vocal range and stylistic range.

Dillinger Escape Plan f. Mike Patton - When Good Dogs Do Bad Things

I love this EP, Mike Patton is such a great vvocalist.

20ish years ago I made a mixed cd for a bunch of friends when we were working at a summer camp. This song was dedicated to my best friend who lived just outside DC.

Smart Went Crazy - d.c. will do that to you (1997) https://youtu.be/PZTSIIhwi_A

I've always wanted to do a movie marathon of Empire Records > PCU > Reality Bites representing high school through post-college in the 90's

I think it's just one of those things, like beer. Some people love the taste right off the bat, for some it's an acquired taste and for other it's something they don't care to enjoy. I was never a huge primus fan but I'd probably like them more than I would have when I was younger. I love angular guitars and weird rock. I think this song is meant to be noisy and fun. And if you think it's too noisy or not fun then that's OK too.

Love the original, love the cover.

Devo - Working in a Coal Mine (1981)

Polygodwanaland is probably their best album. Super stoked for tomorrow's release. Which might be out now since it's tomorrow k Australia

Step one: overcome ADHD to get diagnosed for ADHD Just need to remember to put it on the checklist.

I'm with you. All the other replies seem to assume you already have the audiobooks you want. Are you trying to stream audiobooks you possess or source audiobooks?

I absolutely love my Aftershokz (now branded Shokz) bone conduction headphones. Are they the best sound quality ever? No. Do they lack depth in the bass? Yes. But I listen to a lot of podcasts and the talking voice is right in the sweet spot. But what is fantastic is I never have to take them off (unless I'm at work) because there is no actual obstruction to hearing. I love going for a walk in the woods with some low level post rock playing adding a layer of beauty. It's Iike having my own private soundtrack.

Whenever Collective Soul's song Run comes on I'm never sure if it's going to be that or Coldplay's Yellow.
