Because Honk?

They sound almost as silly as a donkey, which shares the moniker.

I'm glad Rustdesk exists.

"RustDesk is a full-featured open source remote control alternative for self-hosting and security with minimal configuration."

I'm self hosting it, costs me nothing.

I got one of those Epson ink tank printers for $250au. I think it's the first time inkjet printers have become legit affordable and high capacity.

Laser still wins on reliability though, and being an Epson means it's a Tamagochi so needs to be used monthly at least so it doesn't die.

Because it can't hibernate? (But then, not sure which distros can.)

.. and in Australia (at least) you pay a massive Stamp Duty each time you buy a new place.

Ok.

It's not an option out if the box for me on Fedora 40 but maybe it's because I started on 39 and upgraded later.

Probably need to diversify.

Already starting to happen a bit.

The AI only fools us into thinking it's intelligent because it picks the most likely text response based on what it's read before. But often, the output is confidently wrong as it's really just a parlor trick.

Now, since it's starting to ingest more if it's own output, the definition of 'what is the most likely response' has been poisoned a little from ingesting that formerly wrong response.

Add in all the blog spam, the fake but funny reddit answers etc, and the system - which doesn't actually think - starts to get more and more deranged.

Mostly because they needed a wired headset to act as the FM antenna since it needs a decent length to capture FM compared to the much higher UHF and GHz frequencies that the mobile network uses.

I think this is more for that time you're at a gig and realise you're missing the adapter.

I'm not confident that this device is suitably flared. The kick back might exceed the surface area resistance.

Or on a more serious note, maybe a tunnel?

Sorta, except the hole puncher gives you a compartment where the confetti goes.

Hydraulic press is a bit like being a kid and sticking things under the bus tyres to see what happens. A watch may be folded in half and embedded in the bitumen for example.

Ok so just fire a laser at it to generate power in the solar panels?

Where's the cheese?

She wanted cheese with her biscuits the night before she died. I think these might have been her last words to me, eleven years ago.

I fetched the cheese.

It's probably in task scheduler. Look for tasks that run when idle and disable them.

This post was a good deal more innocent than I thought it was going to be.

And quite interesting.

It's a bit of a nightmare though how sometimes it's the inability to swallow that sends people into care when they age or get crook.
