Some little leagues have a similar rule. If a parent verbally abuses an umpire enough that parent must umpire a certain number of games to see just how hard it is. Punishment fits the crime perfectly.

But seriously it's because she manipulates her body in order to keep her hips and torso on top of the bridge. She's not just ragdolling. The bridge kinda pushes her back toward the middle too.

Even if violence was an acceptable form of conflict resolution, if you want to have a fist fight over twitter beef do it on your own time. Not while you're actively performing your job that we the people pay you to do.

A search warrant reviewed by Mother Jones said the agents were looking for evidence that Buma had violated laws against unauthorized removal of classified documents and unauthorized removal of national defense documents.

Horton said that the search turned up no classified material and that the agents seized only Buma’s own whistleblower complaint, which is not classified. The raid “is designed to be in retaliation for the whistleblower complaints,” Horton claimed. “It’s very heavy harassment.”

Growing up there was an older couple on my street who would dress as Mr and Mrs. Clause for Halloween. Santa would open the door and offer you a big spoonful of mashed potatoes! After sufficient protest Mrs. Clause would bring out the candy.

Remy, get in the chef's hat.

Fact: Those cute fluffy babies are actually a variety of baby rails, including a corncrake. Notice how feathery and soft they look, like a baby duck or chicken? That’s because there are basically two strategies for how young are born. They can be altricial, which means you’re born naked and blind (i.e helpless) or precocial, which means you’re born fully feathered or furred and are ready to go from day one.

Fun fact, most birds that are ground-nesters, so game birds, waterbirds, etc., are born feathered and adorable. Whereas most birds born in arboreal nests are little naked jelly beans. Crows, fall into the latter category as anyone who studies crows, rehabs crows, or curiously peeked into a crow nest can attest to.

I'm afraid to ask. What does the bottom left represent?

I'd love to read the article but this is as far as I got

Reloading the page got rid of it but still wtf. Forcing me to leave your website and reload the page is idiotic.

Just some absurdist humor. Anyone remember kingdom hearts stupid files? This feels similar to that kind of 1am loopy humor.

One aspect can be validation. They want another person to affirm that their strong emotions in response to whatever unfortunate event occured are not an overreaction. I think women particularly are criticized for "being too emotional" and can become very self conscious of any emotional response that can be perceived as disproportionate to the event that caused it. So when they tell you about what happened they're looking for how you respond.

It might be tempting to think, "I'll help them realize how little of a deal this is by showing them how easy the solution is." But that completely invalidates their emotions. They just need someone outside of the situation to objectively say, "yea what happened to you, that sucks. Most people in your situation would feel the way you feel. You're not weird or irrational for feeling this way."

I believe that is what is alleged. Thank you for the break down. It can be confusing to parse out.

Ah that sucks. I guess I should have seen that coming. Some people just won't learn =/ I wish there was a better way to prevent these parents from ruining the game for everyone.

Try to make an analogy to a dog or cat. They have biting needs and we give them appropriate toys to satiate that craving. They just needs to accept that they're the only toy that can satiated your natural instincts.

Many much moosen.

Gotta point put all the moo-moos and neigh-neighs you see on the road. It's the law.

I mean, have you seen/heard her perform? She's very convincing.

It's the "I'll have you know" for me

My neighbor had so many weird yet charming movies we didn't have in our house. There was this one where I think an English man took care of an otter for some reason? It was also at this neighbor's house that I first saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail for the first time. We had those 1am sillies and were in a permanent giggle fit.

Yes and no

I feel exposed if it's swung all the way open though. I just leave it ajar for the kitty.

Such a good game. Such a great story. You can tell how much thought and care when into every aspect of it. One of the most complete and immersive experiences I've had in gaming.

Depends on context, but yea.

Ah, that makes sense =/

How bout "my brain craves, but I want." Like, I'm craving ice cream but I want to be healthy." It reminds you to make the distinction between bodily urges and your more executive desires, the ones you actually want to inform your behavior.

From the article: "Conflict between Israel and Palestine has exploded over the past month after an attack by Hamas killed some 1,400 Israelis. In retaliation, Israel has launched a massive bombing campaign that the government claims is targeted at Hamas but which has overwhelmingly impacted Gaza’s civilian population."

Love the summary bot, but the edit sounded like Israel retaliated in response to this video.

What's cruel about it? It seems akin to community service which is handed down as legal punishment all the time.
