Remember that the star trek era was preceded by a nuclear ww3, and the eugenics wars. We still seem to be on track.

Wait, isn't that obvious? Its for Elise!

I would like to point out its not even we. Its upper management and 'the stockholders'. Everyone from the peon to lower management knows that people don't work continuously for their shift. I doubt anyone can work continuously for that long and not go crazy.

But the reward from mid and management and above for completing your work is more work. Which is great for them since you completing more work means they get bonuses.

And then promptly leave early because it waits and 'corrects' time at a different random stop in the middle of no where? That happens a lot here.

Maybe its not because of assholes? Maybe its because the comment is objectively wrong?

Neither my gas water heater, or gas furnace work during a power outage. As another commenter said they both have electronic controls.

Don’t comment what a line is doing. Instead, write your code, especially names for variables, constants, classes, functions, methods and so on, so that they produce talking code that needs no comments.

Over and over and over again in my experience this just doesn't work. Readable code does not substitute for comments about what the code should be doing.

For me its mostly the time factor. A 45 min drive takes 2 to 3 hours by transit in my city, or longer one way. And thats if busses show up and make connections. I would love to take transit but can't make it work in a any that would mean I still get to sleep.

Still not great though because it would still be blocking access to the stall, effectively blocking the stall anyways.

The bike parking there for example blocks a wheelchair lift if the vehicle doesnt want to back in.

To quibble, you can't pop a HID into a reflector housing at all, usually. Halogen and drop in replacement LED have a different focal point than HID bulbs do.

This means if switching to HIDs you also need to replace the entire housing so it will focus the light correctly. No amount of adjustment will be correct if the beam isn't focused properly.

I'm going to go ahead and say what the others were to polite to.

GO FUCK YOURSELF ASSHOLE!

Strong disagree, under DST I get to experience some sunlight in then evenings. Under Standard time I get to watch the sun come up through the window and set through the window.

Check the straps of those portable luggage stands first those. They are a favorite location of bed bugs since the don't often get treated. Unroll the straps a little bit to check underneath them next to the tubes.

Let's take that dude isn't generally considered a slur which is fine. It becomes one when someone asks you to not use that term in regards to them and you continue to do so.

People absolutely shouldn't get offended if someone misterms them on first meeting. However if someone is constantly misgendering or what have you after being informed that the addressee doesn't want to be addressed that way, that person does deserve to be shamed.

That's only because you individually have been made responsible for the election. Every one else was at the meeting and didn't want the job. Good luck, and don't choose wrong!

Properly sharp knives are indifferent to that which they cut. Be that your steak, or you, their job is to cut.

A properly shaperned knife is a wicked, angry, thing. It must be treated with respect, deffarence, and no small part of care. However, they must not be feared; like a wild predator they can sense fear.

Suffice it to say OP was just using some artistic license to show that they got a new old knife and nicked themselves.

And if someone you respect asked you not to call them that? Would you disregard the wishes of your friends or family because that's just the way you talk to everyone?

I can say that this is a common thing in engineering. Pretty much everyone I know would treat 1/2x as 1/(2x).

Which does make it a pain when punched into calculators to remember the way we write it is not necessarily the right way to enter it. So when put into matlab or calculators or what have you the number of brackets can become ridiculous.

I shuddered you bastard.

While this is an enormous leap forward from FPTP, it still seems like it would suffer from the same issues as STV. We need to both change the voting system, and move to some form of proportional representation, of which I tend to be a fan of Mixed Member Proportional.

I realise this thread is about the US and there are some structural differences, the over all message is the same. We need a move away from FPTP voting, and FPTP electoral systems.

Ubuntu user, for me I've always had to disable/delete the voice dispatcher, that usually does it.

increase in certain prices due to some external shock this can have a much broader effect, but it is actually wrong to call that “inflation

So what should I call it when my food budget balloons, because the grocery stores are calling it inflation?

With a different report on the same topic, after all its still plagiarism if your copying yourself.

Except, if I understand correctly they haven't u-turned. They aren't removing the language re encryption, just acknowledging that it isn't enforceable. Yet.

Yes, because free market capitalism has been working out great.

They also fail to mention that the cost of materials today is wildly lower making larger homes easier to achieve. Not to also mention advances in building techniques.

Commenting so I ca find this later. This looks fantastic and I'm excited to try this for my game.

You mention that the cards scale automatically which is great for online games, but is it possible to fix the size to say an index card for printing?

Edit: should have finished reading, just saw you mention that as a goal for v2.

So whats then, we do nothing at all?

like projects? Do you know any history at all?

What, like the low cost medium and high density construction that many European and Eastern block countries used to house their populations. It helps if you don't intend to stuff them with the poor and disenfranchised and then ignore them from the outset.
