Uhm. Peaceful protests are also a form of action. Inaction is in the name, it's not doing anything.

That last bit about the attorney fees not being a part of it is what's wrong with the system... I assume something similar to filibustering happens in court due to that. It's utterly immoral and ridiculous.

I prefer a rock solid public transport system, and plenty of safe walking areas and no-car zones. EVs help minimally in the grand scheme, since they are costly to produce, especially the batteries.
