I've accepted my fate

It's nice to see more midrange android tablets being released. Speaking for myself I've been looking for a 1080p mid range android tablet and the options were very limited for many years. Most options had either 720p screens or CPU's so slow that the tablets were frustrating to use.

Yeah I was always a boost user on reddit but there are too many bugs on the Lemmy version so I switched to Sync and have been very happy.

The i5-7500 is only £30 so almost 1/3 of the price of the 7700 which is great. Would 4 threads be enough for my application? Also what stat/website do you use to look at idle power?

I'm using eBay and honestly can see quite a few listings at that price (2nd hand ofc)

Yeah honestly either would probably have plenty of power for my use case. The last column shows approximate 2nd hand prices in the UK. The 7700 is around £85 and the 7700k is around £120 although with some searching I'm sure I could find both cheaper. Thanks for the info

Hey, I'm a current trackt user and I'm curious what you don't like about trackt?

Yeah I've got quite a lot of content with h265 so that's definitely worth knowing thanks!

My bad, I didn't realise that that was the article title. I'm surprised that Vox chose to go with that title but obviously that's got nothing to do with this post or the community rules.

Hey Raildrake, you might not have noticed but you made 4 posts with the same caption

This is clearly a dark road to go down and a terrible idea for the country. I personally couldn't be anymore against this.

That said should there not be stricter rules on titles on a news subreddit? A lot of the titles I've seen recently are clearly prejudiced or undescriptive.

I think it's important we maintain a high level of accuracy on news subreddits to limit the spread of misinformation.
