then there is irc - which at best is linked to some of the outer ring ftp servers.
ftp servers run by currygroups is next. and they leech from
the core of scene ftp servers.
sure i missed exotic outlets of the piracy latter like ondemandpiracystreaming, ssd-by-snailmail and so on.. we all agree vpn is key. i think irc always has worked better than torrent ever and being easier to access thab nzbs.
if you pay for music you feed a system that starves the artist. dont buy music. ever. but their merch, go to concerts or support them in other ways.

well for starters you could just go xdcc.eu,search some shit, fire up hexchat, obey channel rules (e.g you have to register your username) and xdcc request the file. next up you might want to do you own irc bot maybe selfhosted on a Pi or as a service and teach that bot what to get you on a regular basis like tv shows. then never use xdcc.eu ever again and run your searches through said bot. maybe get lost in the whole topic and have a telegram bot run on the irc bot Pi to update you on latest downloads and so on... you can have an irc client on your phone and then tell your bot what to request and download.

that is the LAST thing that comes to mind with FOSS. So Makulu does NOTHING but sell some of their AI Cloudstuff with the "Pro Version". That is useless. We all will be using gpt4all.io or alike locally with loads of cpus and not gpus.

The developer of changedetection.io is deleting questions and discussion on github and bans like it is reddit.
Especially when asked why changedetection.io only works with provider BrightData for proxies the dev is fast at deleting.
I am getting the impression this is a sales tool for bright data and that the dev is NOT OK.
Let me know if you know of ANYONE using proxies in changedetection that are NOT bright data.

i am from the north...real north...born 200m off the coast....the "conservativism" of the south is insane to me. switzerland and austria are even worse. it is not really about being a conaervative but that it is their coping mechanism to function as facists in a democracy.

i run linux with docker and portainer with lizzys application template list for easier use and also her Dashy dashboard besides the usual containers ppl on r/selfhosted would suggest. right now the pine is out of ram because nodejs is just so bulky. so i run stuff like uptimekuma,pihole,,changedetection,unifi, nginx and sometimes start containers like firefly3, jellyfin, searxng or apache guacamole etc.. and while both my pi2 and my pi3 at some point just died I am all for pine now. only pi still in service for me is a pi1 with rtl433 to collect data and send via mqtt.
