Turning jail time into spending money looks a lot like fines being a cost of business. A CEO of a big company could just kill a child's parents and not even feel the sting, as long as he's drunk and his weapon is his car.

Can the guy appeal? He's not gonna give up until he's sure 100% that he's definitely not allowed frfr

"we are sorry you feel that way. Cope".

That's what it reads like, honestly

No, because he was against the whole ethnicity, not just the state.

Moommm check it out, Americans are Wildin' again!!

Dude is legit running out of lawyers to hire lmao

Those aren't rocks they're bags of money

IT people are a whole other kind of human being.

So like, according to the organizers, if they were born with a penis, it doesn't matter if they transitioned, they are considered men.

This trans man (a person born with a vagina who transitioned ) is entering the contest, because if trans women are considered men, trans men are considered women.

So this dude is entering a "female" beauty contest to show how dumb the rules are. He is allowed to do so because said dumb rules make him a woman in the eyes of the organization.

I did the research. It is satire. They wished everyone a Merry Eaglemas this week.

This is a funny one.

What a beautiful excuse to drop prime. Unfortunately my own changing of behavior won't change anyone's, but hey, at least I guess it's less money spent monthly.

I feel like the United States' fixation on limiting taxes and government intervention is something the rest of the world has been trying to warn about.

This seems to me like the second biggest example of "fuck around and find out" to come out of the US in a long time.

The example of buying water in cans and protein bars are like... Ok, the money we spend on those was spent on wine and chips by my parents. Habits haven't changed. Prices have.

Reminds me of how we used to change the order of the wires in PC to PC connections on early RJ45 cables. What a fucking pain in the ass that was for colorblind like myself.

Nope, I didn't even unfettered access to South Park. After season one was translated to French and played in Quebec at kid hours, a bunch of parents decided their kids shouldn't watch it because they were all cussing like old truckers.

It was good times :)

Honestly I came here just a few days ago, right after Reddit admins removed that r/place guillotine. I wouldn't say that I am very far to the left, but I do enjoy living in something close to a social democracy. I wouldn't be happy in a place like the United States for example.

Why are internal combustion engines spying on pregnant women and fortnite kids now?

When was that? I only really got into computers around the time of windows 98 and back then everything was a pop-up on the internet. You would actually go to war against the popups, trying to close more that were opening.

Maybe that was on XP tho because I don't really remember it that well. I certainly remember looking up what the word incest meant for a school assignment and having to rush to close popup ads at the public library. It was the first time I used the internet and it was not a great first impression.

Jokes on you, when I was an early bird, years ago, I would play FF14 from 4:30 to 7:00. On weekends I would be drunk or high by noon.

With all the blackouts I had these past 2 years, YEA PLEASE. Hell, I was a out to relearn how to make a homemade AM radio. Haven't done it in 28 years.

Wait wait you feel like Firefly went on TOO long?

That's a take and a half..

I install it every 6 months or so to check if android controller support has been added. I expect many other people do the same. It's just a drop in the bucket, but that bucket eventually fills up

Thank you so much for explaining the reason for the downtimes. I just thought it was some temporary issue caused by unforseen popularity. Knowing it was malicious does make me more understanding of how difficult this must be. I will continue to be patient. I am sadly not good enough with anything other than basic powershell scripts and learning proprietary software configurations.. 10 years of software support does that to a guy. I'll still check if there is anything I can do to help. I do want this project to succeed.

Funny how reality caught up to the memes.. well.. not funny, but you get it.

Whose government though? That's the issue with this thinking. As a person who does not live in the US, I'm not sure I want the US to own everything that can be used in war.

Literally me when Josh Strife Hayes posted the AdventureQuest video

When you ask a Linux head what kind of printer to use, they answer "get a Brother laser printer". Linux YouTube is what sold me on Brother.

Linux ppl tend to be the biggest shills when it comes to products that respect the consumer.

They have lots of time and motivation, as well as zero shits to give about getting caught. It's Actually a pretty good thing that kids are trying to bypass security because it naturally teaches them problem solving in a novel way

Salt may not be sauce, but it's the only answer

Most technology news your average layman is interested in is ads for new products and how tech companies turn out to not be so great to work for. I think that's why most news that appear on top don't really cover the fun stuff.

I wish any of my friends were into fantasy /Science fiction. I can't sit down and have coffee with a friend to gush about the latest Brandon Sanderson book or talk build orders in Homeworld

Some people love it, some hate, but most don't really have an opinion?

The growing hate for billionaires by the people, the growing manifestations of desire for equality from minorities in the west, South Korea and Japan starting to make peace because they can agree on the China problem. Also I can see how things changed in 30 years and can tell that within 5 years we have the ability to completely upend the world if we need to. Humans are so adaptable that we don't even notice how fast we're changing our world and ourselves.

Probably most. You'd see 1000s of articles every day non-stop, if 20%+ of people were this disgusting.

The fact that you can still be surprised is proof that most of them aren't this disgusting.

Oh did they remove the 5 skips per day maximum?

Neat!

You in the US? Amazon.ca doesn't have a "buy this much for free shipping" option as far as I know.

Keep informed so you don't buy AI-written books. Better know what's going on instead of letting the world happen to you imo.
