This reminds me of when I had bots joining a Groupme I made, so I locked it down and made it so that people had to answer a question to get in, something like "say beans if you're not a bot". Caught so many bots that way. It's good that you set up a question like that for your instance.

Interesting having no bar! I've got a question, how do you keep track of the time, keyboard layout (I use three), volume, workspace, and currently playing song? That's what I use my bar for, but if I can replace it with other methods, then I might go bar-less too
Maybe something like vim or emacs? Idk if they have tabs for different open files though

I do want to ask though, if I'm focusing on making memes with proper grammar and such, and interacting with the community in the comments, is that better or would it still be doomed to fail because of the "needing to be in-the-know" stuff? Idk I just kinda got used to neovim and made a custom color scheme too lol (although I'm still learning), but I might go and try out Geany again, I haven't used it in a while. And I don't use neovim for everything, I use vscodium for editing stuff like html and css

I've been staying with Arch for a while now, maybe a few months. Might switch to NixOS in the future but right now I'm happy. I used Fedora, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, etc before that.
