No. I interacted with him on two occasions during the PayPal days. They were pitching PayPal as a payment mechanism for a bunch of our verticals. Even back then he was weird, awkward, and cringe. I think there is video of him back then taking possession of a McLaren and you can see how cringe he was.

EDIT: Found it.. On rewatch, it doesn't really show how insufferable he was in person. It's funny to see how x.com gets recycled though.

Even if you are not a fan, her legacy and impact is indisputable.

If they just want to throw money away on ineffective advertising, they can just send it to me. I have a few ideas that are far more effective than Twat.

If you're fluent in Spanish, then you can get by with Portuguese and read Italian. Nobody can understand what the fuck Italians are saying unless they repeat it at 0.25x speed.

Even Valve can't help but tell everyone that they run Arch.

The sexual tension between me and never asking for help because I hate interacting with people.

If I was a billionaire I would be down with this challenge but, just like a dragon, expect failure to be fatal. That said, if you succeed I think the rewards should also be great.

I used my Steam Deck as my main system for a month to see how it would do. It was fine. No issues whatsoever.

Standard Notes for secure note taking.

I remember seeing this for the first time on a Greek television station with no context. I was so confused until the music started. Then I was delighted, then horrified, then ecstatic because I knew I had just witnessed a masterpiece.

2010-2012 was the sweet spot.

I have sailed the seven seas since the 1990's and IMHO, if you are in the US, the library system is the best answer for books and audio books.

Black people on the 1920's had to deal with "the klan" as sporadic and fairly localized pockets of violent racists that wanted them to "know their place". Trans people have to deal with a nationwide, organized, and enabled group of people that want them to not exist, as well as a significant number of politicians who are legislating to ensure they do indeed cease to exist. Also, anyone that thinks that trans people do not and have not dealt with violence is a dip shit.

It's a fairly decent game that flopped spectacularly. There is just something dull about it but I could not put my finger on it. I moved on after about six or seven hours.

I dunno. Unkillable great-great-grannies are kinda hot.

I, for one, am looking forward to the day chatbots can perfectly simulate people and have persistent memory. I'm not ok being an elderly man who's friends have all died and doesn't have anyone to talk to. If a chatbot can be my friend and spare me a slow death through endless depressing isolation, then I'm all for it.

I would avoid Ubuntu and Fedora because of their corporate shenanigans. I've had a very painless experience with Pop!_OS as my daily driver and there's a version that comes with Nvidia support already baked in. Otherwise, I would recommend Mint D which is the version that ditched Ubuntu for pure Debían (what Ubuntu is a fork of).

Don't forget the current lockdown and eventual (this is an assumption) removal of NSFW content. Porn is not IPO friendly, but one should never underestimate the amount of regular traffic it can produce. When traffic metrics are collected, they rarely filter out NSFW. There's already lemmynsfw.com, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

How's Grim Dawn with controller?

Would you mind sharing your docker-compose.yml file (sanitized, of course)? I am trying to spin up an instance on Google Cloud.

NO API NEEDED

I used the "Spaz's Reddit Delete" browser script through Greasemonkey to sanitize my account. No API needed. Now, if any of my comments or posts are a result of a Google search (I posted a lot on tech support type subs), they will lead to a dead link or to a [deleted].

PS: Deleting your account leaves your posts and comments behind, which in turn provide value to Reddit.

EDIT: LMFAO. Wrong post.

For him though.... That's like a quarter.

Today, yes, but back then he was just another dot com millionaire. Remember, that footage was before PayPal, so he probably had about 300M, tops. A million was still only a fraction of his wealth, but it was still a noticeable fraction.

Chained Echoes

I run Pop!_OS on an Early 2015 MBP 13. It's pretty much flawless. The only thing that doesn't work is the webcam, which is a bonus for my ugly mug.

I guess I had an easier time with Brazilian Portuguese because I spent a decade in coastal Puerto Rico and they high speed mumble with tons of slang and a serious dislike of consonants (See Tego Calderón).

There goes RiF, so there goes me. Almost 12 years of Reddit, gone.

PSA: You can use browser scripts to securely delete your posts and comments. Don't gift Reddit your content. Force search engines to scrub dead Reddit links from their results.
