As for me, a redditor for almost 9 years, I am not planning to return anytime soon. Right now Im on Kbin and it reminds me so much of old school Reddit. Well, except the whole federated instances thing.
The gameplay better be GotY-level of enjoyable to justify that level of jank.
Virtually all free to play games are. The most popular are designed in a way to lure you in with freebies and gameplay that tickles you lizard brain in a pleasant way. Then, when you are invested enough, they annoy you with waiting times and artifical speed bumps just enough to make you spend bucks in their cash shop but not enough to stop playing. These games are basically slot machines masquerading as a game, where the only goal is to milk you dry of your income.

The game mods that increase the view distance take something away from the games magic, IMO. To this day I remember walking down the road and seeing Vivec city suddenly appearing in front of me from the fog.
I have switched to Ecosia few days ago. No conplains so far. Its free, and builds off Bing IIRC.
I have been intrigued by Kagi, but Im not really ready to pay a sub for a search engine.
Yeah, what’s with that NPCs eyes? Is this how they all are going to look? If so, yikes.
How does the federation work in this case? Do I have to create a new account there, or can I see their content using my Kbin account?
Does this mean that Reddit is now responsible for any illegal content on it?
