Noticed the legendary pepper brush and immediately looked for this comment

It’s already begun - I’ve been getting “unable to fetch posts”-type errors since this morning. Hang on tight folks, it’ll be a wild ride as we welcome the flood of new Fledditors!

“We want a free market!”

“Wait, not like that”

Greedflation!

I can’t recommend these clips enough. I roll a lot in my sleep, and my fitted sheet used to ride up every night. I installed these clips and the sheet has not budged since.

I stopped eating at Chipotle many years ago when my local Chipotle caused dozens of food poisoning cases. Luckily there are lots of mom-and-pop burrito joints where I live, and their food is almost always better and cheaper than Chipotle.

I love Glow Screen. It goes on with a healthy, barely noticeable tint, doesn’t feel oily or heavy, and lasts the whole day.

Ask your doctor about guanfacine (Intuniv). It is taken both as an ADHD medication and a blood pressure lowering medication. It might be good either by itself or in conjunction with your current medication to offset the stimulant’s effects on blood pressure.

It’s the other way around. Fecundity is the measure of how well a person is biologically able to reproduce. Fertility is how many children people actually have, which also depends on voluntary choices.

I literally had never encountered the term “cheugy” until I first played Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, in which the old principal asks you what kids these days meant by “cheugy”. I had to look it up. Sadge

Can confirm, my two cockatiels are both assholes when it comes to demanding scritches and stealing human food.

I got diagnosed with ADHD-PI at 23, after going no-contact with my abusive parents and finally getting therapy. Growing up, I always knew there was something different about how my brain processed things, but would have never known it was ADHD because I didn’t have any hyperactive symptoms. I was constantly being told that I was lazy, didn’t care, and immature, and being threatened and physically abused didn’t help either. I’m so glad I finally got diagnosed, found meds and organization systems that work for me, and know that neurodivergence is a normal thing!

My blood pressure also rose a lot when I was first put on Concerta. My doctor prescribed guanfacine to take along with the Concerta, and it did slowly bring my blood pressure down to normal levels. Hope it works out for you!

Maybe you meant to post this to c/MildlyInfuriating

They all look like webcam covers.

I have read “The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks” and absolutely find it appalling that her cells were taken without her consent, and she and her family was never properly compensated.

I’ve only worked with HeLa cells once, and they were super hardy and easy to grow. Even if you forget to check on them for a week, they’ll start growing on top of each other when the monolayer becomes fully confluent. Easy to transfect as well.

Not at all! I also joined Lemmy recently as part of the great Reddit migration.

I had to switch to Azstarys two months ago because literally all the pharmacies in and around my city have my usual generic Concerta on backorder. Looks like the shortage won’t end for a while.
