As just someone from the outside looking in, this game is so confusing. On one hand you have journalist sites praising this game and throwing 10/10 around like crazy and on the other you have a review like this that is critical of the game and points out (for me) very blatant faults. Do the points presented by SkillUp not matter to the average game journalist? Or is that something they actually seek in an immersive RPG experience? I'm just so lost on how it can actually be given a 10/10 after seeing this review.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I wouldn't know, because I've never been wrong.

Shows that they have amazing confidence in their product. This is the same to me as saying "We know it sucks so please don't say so if we give you this key."

Someone else had the same problem. Check this thread for suggested solutions. https://lemmy.ml/post/3612554

You could try "Another Crab's treasure". It even has accessibility options to make it easier if it's too intimidating.

Why a game convention though? Does the gaming industry use any oil?

Well Shawn. How about this is the new standard for AAA games and if you can't reach it than you are a AA studio at most.

Or we could just wait for the game to have actual trailers/gameplay or even wait untill it's released before we start saying the game is shit. We don't even know anything about it yet.

Really? Seems to work fine for me, for now.

From games as a service we went to game engine as a service. What is the next step? C++ as a service?

I genuinely hope this happens so I can push my friends towards Signal.

Microtransactions are entering the endgame.

It is absurd in the way that the previous NL-ALERT I received had a link to Twitter for more information that I couldn't open, since I don't have a Twitter account. When Musk decides to do something crazy with his platform it could have a direct impact on the communication between the government and the people. It is safer to use a self hosted platform so you can always reach the masses when it is needed.

Yeah, title is kinda clickbaity. It doesn't mention that Microsoft recommends Linux at any point. But a post saying that Microsoft has an installation guide for Linux would get less traffic I guess.

What is unclear? All you have to do is resolve the Lemmy world app on Android and install the errors on your iPhone mail.

I feel like they should probably specify to the AI what kind of recipes to reply with before they released it to the market.

"Horrified by the reports of a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia," Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney tweeted.

"My heart is with the loved ones and families of everyone involved, and I send my prayers to the victims," he added. "This devastating violence must stop."

So yeah, thoughts and prayers I guess...

Probably the same reason people from Reddit deffered to Lemmy. Discontent with the current service provider.

Can't believe they even took that choice away from you 😔

I wonder. Does that also mean Fromsoft has a case against games marketing themselves as soulslikes?

You don't need to care about posters leaving if you don't show content in your app taps forehead

Don't worry about it too much. From what I've read in this thread alone is enough for me to label OP as a troll.

Damn, and I used to like Kirby. Can't trust anyone these days.

Shit like this makes me happy the EU regulates this BS. Here you are legally required to make it as easy to cancel as it is easy to sign up.

This studio really got the Indiana Jones tone down. Love the humor in this trailer.

I just want to get rid of that dumb AI they pinned to the top of the chats and the constantly returning banner that tries to push me to Snapchat web.

Top that off with the ads being for "Anti WIFI/5G EMF radiation stickers" so they covered all their conspiracy bases.

I doubt any of this is going according to plan. After this debacle devs will leave Unity because you know they are gonna think up some new fee to screw devs over. This at least makes it so that games in development with Unity have a chance to release and pick another engine after that project.

So they are just pumping in useless features so they have an excuse to raise the price for premium more?

A teaser on a steam page. Haven't seen that often.

Nah, they went all in on Yasuke being a proven black samurai by getting in so called "experts" in the field. And now that they have been caught they play the "work of fiction" card. They don't care about Japanese fiction. All they care about is getting money and feeling good about themselves for having inclusion.

Je ne parles pas Français.

Nice, I was interested in Remnant, but never got around to buying it. Guess I'll check them out now.

They did that one already in the first game in a side quest iirc.

They could give away the game for free for a short boost in players, but they need to do something about the endgame first. Or else they end up in the same position they are in now.

I remember the days before the ban. I hated looking in the mirrors checking for the emergency services to let pass only to realize it was an add. It's a good van imo. You don't gain anything from including them, but there are demerits so just get them out of there.

The combat is honestly my problem with most Bethesda games. I enjoy the environment and story, but the combat feels lackluster to me. Hits with any kind of weapon feel like they miss impact on the enemy. Other than that, great games.

Should've been interesting patch notes. "We've noticed the Iron Giant has been overperforming, so we just straight up deleted him so we won't have to think about it."

Agreed. Webslinging across NY is the best part.
