This sounds so very complicated, I wish I had the expertise needed to help you out. I hope a fix can come soon.
Thank you for all the time you're dedicating towards this issue and for keeping us updated. You're the best!
Don't mention it! Your reasoning and mindset is so very heartening, I hope you'll get more active users, they'll be in good hands for sure. Instance owners like your self, db0 are a treasure. 👌
I'm very sorry for the delay, I didnt get on Lemmy until evening.
I'm using Kindle Fire HD 8, (10th gen tablet). Thank you again for working on this issue!

I haven't seen that name in ages. I think Kazaa Lite, Imesh and Audio Galaxy were the first file sharing programs I ever used.
Thanks for the response! I'll try when I get home again.
Many thank you for the quick fix and all the work that you do in app and Lemmy, it's very much appreciated!
I find in the 0.0.57 release that bigger fonts are scaling strangely and so the words like subscribe and new are being cut off.
Of course! I originally had the font size set to around 29px but it suddenly got smaller with the most recent update.

Yes this was fine on 0.0.55. This change only occurred for me on the 0.0.57 release.

The little garden makes me feel unreasonably happy and the symbolism of the logo is on point!
Oh yes, a pirate ship would be most fitting! 🏴☠️
Thanks for the heads up, I hope it will go well!
Thank you for all your hard work as always, Jerboa is my favourite Lemmy app!
I'm very fond of DC Talk's So Long My Friend.
To answer your question, it was probably music that sent me sailing the high seas. The only way to get music back then was to tape songs off the radio, download them online or buy a bootleg CD off the street.
Otherwise you'd have a spend a tonne at the few music shops we have/had.
I had issues with Jerboa too, what helped me was signing out and in again. Hope you can log in with Jerboa soon!
On desktop, I used to use Pchat some years ago before moving on to Hexchat, can't imagine using else.
It's good to know that other options exist.
OT, that's a very nice UN and instance name you have!
