*sees a total abuse of trust and power*

LOL, Liberals will hate this 🤣🤣🤣

Come on, that's objectively funny, and if someone was properly manager-brained they'd just think "Ah, squeeze some more outta that one". Lame behavior on every front

doesn't seem to tolerate basic slurs

Thank you Valve for consistently making gaming easier even in my silly little operating systema

I get gender euphoria all the time, baby, nothing better than living my life. Most recent I'd say is swimming topless with my friends today, just felt like one of the girls.

First time, I think, is when I was very young and "played Pokemon for my mom". I'd do that alot actually, it just meant I'd play the girl character and not save my game.

My first conscious time was when I was with friends and I bought my first bra, a sports bra, it was great :) I'd wear it to uni under hoodies all the time (spring included).

I can't even imagine what context would allow that comparison to be okay

Make it so the Aztecs roundly defeated Hernan Cortez, another conquerer would've come but they may have been more prepared and Native Americans may not have lost so much of their sovereignty and culture

fidel-salute

Wow, that takes a really strong person to not even take just half. Big ups to you for that willpower

It's okay! I've been doing this for years and started in bumfuck nowhere and lemme tell you: nobody cares. Just go grab a medium or so sports bra and check it out, no words needed, nobody will care. Not even those conservative white women with nothing better to do than shop.

Leave comically large banana peels out in the tourist streets and wait for your victims to come sliding on by 😈

Seriously though, maybe organizing locally against it if other people feel strongly about it would be a good idea? If all else fails there's always ol' reliable (getting a pistol and shooting blanks at odd hours)

For me, I've never found it possible. Internet stuff, whatever, but when friends or loved ones turn on you there's not much to be done in my experience. Try and be compassionate to all involved and try to politely explain yourself to anyone, but those who stick with you are the real ones. If folks are liable to turn on you after a social misstep or something as serious as assault, they're bad folks, folks.

And if they're managed well on top of being worker controlled, but that's usually been a mixed bag historically

GOOD LUCK trans-heart

I had to cut off my own parents because of this, but, I hope it goes far better for you.

Get a trans friend to help you do it then, or just a gender bender friendly friend. Or keep my voice in your head, saying "DO IT NERD!!!!"

I just can't imagine leaving my community so easily for a job I guess, but I imagine plenty of folks must do it all the time.

My landleach pays for energy, so, 72F at all times and a small data center running in the corner

Living, itself, has become identified as an imperialist amerikkkan bourgeois decadence

Wait just realized you're anglo since your username has "colour". Uhh, yeah, maybe organizing with your local councils will be your best bet? You guys are really missing out on that spontaneous violence we have in the states that gives life an interesting kick.

Yeah I mean, I came from a very poor region and it was hard to move for me, but it was made easier because my family was beginning to cut me off for being queer anyway and I had the privilege of WFH too. I know lots of people who'd move out of their region if not for their family supporting them in some way they can't get elsewhere (or they don't think so, atleast).

That scene in End of Evangelion where they're all in each other's minds

HA thank you, I'm still learning to properly use my pinyin engine and identify correct characters

Find a big queer city >:) even if you aren't queer there'll be plenty of fine folks and communists abound

She's literally correct; studies from even anti-Chinese partisan sources can't help but find that satisfaction with the government is overwhelming. While you treat anti-imperialist movements like this sitting from your home in the imperial core, you're not a revolutionary or helping anybody build towards anything better, you're an active hindrance. Feel free to imbibe the actual opinions of people in China so you can understand the conditions there and not just your cracker conditioning. It's not perfect, but overthrow would be far; far worse.

Love the star trek fanfic, very cute that it's being written on such a system; and I'm amazed that elinks works with lemmy!

20s, Southern US, and yes. It's weird seeing folks who don't since most of the shitboxes we drove were

Alternatively, don't use Pop_OS. I installed it on an ex's laptop because it was easy but it'd have all the same problems as Ubuntu without the helpful diagnostic tools and extensive documentation. Hers messed up far more than my Arch install

I've never used it but that should be fine

GNOME

Edit: Sorry, I may have misunderstood the question as I'm not entirely sure what a launcher is in the context of Linux, but I've been using GNOME as my desktop environment for years and it does everything asked for here.
