He's Explosive Ordinance Disposal, but his time ran out to diffuse the bomb.

Someone is really out to get lemmy.world lately.

I feel like with every update there is at least one attack.

It's probably because I've commented a couple of times. Usually I have nothing to say, but I've felt rather engaged lately.

Ya. I was originally a Google Play music subscriber which got turned into YouTube music, for $9.99usd. Now they're increasing the cost by like $4 after December. So I moved to the spotify family plan and now I share with my love ones for only a little bit more than the new YT price.

YT music was turning to sit though. It would always play music video audio with long ass shitty intros when the studio album music existed in their catalog. Even with the music video option turned to off.

Nah. Imo, this is him telling oil company that they need to step up and fully fund his requests for money "or else". Didn't he recently ask the oil industry for an insane amount of money at the beginning of his campaign or something?

The first write-off came on Mr. Trump’s tax return for 2008. With sales lagging far behind projections, he claimed that his investment in the condo-hotel tower met the tax code definition of “worthless,” because his debt on the project meant he would never see a profit. That move resulted in Mr. Trump reporting losses as high as $651 million for the year, The Times and ProPublica found. There is no indication the I.R.S. challenged that initial claim, though that lack of scrutiny surprised tax experts consulted for this article. But in 2010, Mr. Trump and his tax advisers sought to extract further benefits from the Chicago project, executing a maneuver that would draw years of inquiry from the I.R.S. First, he shifted the company that owned the tower into a new partnership. Because he controlled both companies, it was like moving coins from one pocket to another. Then he used the shift as justification to declare $168 million in additional losses over the next decade.

No, no, no. You've got it wrong. The truth, and journalism in general, is not valid if it comes from a communist.

Bona-fide, electrified, 6-car?

I always sort by All and New. In fact it's my default feed setting on my Liftoff app.

No, you're right. But I think this is specifically a message to the oil industry.

Please, please. I'm just a guy. Be sure to follow to catch a low level comment or two every few days!

Aight. Since you are in California, get connected with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). In a general nutshell, their main goal is to help people with disabilities get gainful permanent employment.

You will need verification of disability and from your attempt at claims you don't have any, but any disability will work to include anxiety that raises to the level of disability, depression, anything already verified by medical professionals.

They can also provide funding for college to help you get a job. They can pay for tuition, fees, parking passes, school materials.

Also I think all states have a department similar to DOR.

From the Military.com reporting that the Vice article references:

"Another Army official pointed to partisan attacks from conservative lawmakers and media, which has an overwhelmingly white audience. Those groups have used the military as a partisan cudgel against the Biden administration, lambasting the services for being "woke," or so preoccupied with liberal values that they have abandoned their warfighting priorities. In most cases, those attacks have zeroed in on the services being more inclusive for women, service members from racial minority groups and LGBTQ+ troops."

So true lol. Also, I usually have nothing significant to contribute in the comments, but I've chosen your post to comment so that I count as an active user for today.

Why does it take one year for this plane to warm up before it breaks the sound barrier? Aren't there planes that already break the sound barrier in minutes/seconds and not take years?

Pants bro. I'm a dude and I got some tree trunk thighs and a big ass. I can only wear relaxed fit or classic fit, and even then they're still skinny fit.

I don't feel represented. There isn't a badass chrome and black cruiser emoji that makes a loud-ass rumble when you open the message, so I'm stuck with the fast and quiet Supersport 🏍.

Like when whole countries begin to go green and EVs are being more realistic and tangible, and to top off no seemingly push back from big oil, you know shit needs to change

I was just going to say something similar to this. The job application is an assessment for your technical abilities/skills for the job.

The interview is a second assessment to gauge your personality and communication to make sure it's a fit for the team.

There are VERY few jobs where you can work in isolation. Teamwork, personality and communication are important for almost all jobs. Hench the assessment that gauges those aspects.

Honestly, it's the failure rate and quick fizzle out that's got me waiting with any game.

Bethesda and Starfield did it to me. Still feel bamboozled by buying that day one. I love RPGs, I love space, I love crafting, but it just fell so damn flat. And then all the rhetoric and displeasure of Dragon's Dogma 2 and mtx. It's a no for me.

But then again, I have a hard time splitting from my money since I don't have a lot of disposable income, so I prefer to make the wisest ROI choice I can.

You are allowed, but in that universe you must actually PokémonGO to the polls.

This is my question too. I'm not really interested in adding mastodon, etc. Posts to my feed, but I do want to see more pictures and I hoping someone can explain how to add pixelfed content to lemmy subscriptions/feed.

Ya. This was my last straw. Figured I'd give them until the end of the original 9.99. So far the transition to Spotify has been good.

You and history info & memes.

I don't even have a physically demanding job, and I'm always too tired to play games after work. But I've been on Persona 5 Royal lately.

Commenting there seems to be like yelling into a giant void with everyone on the planet, here it feels like screaming into a smaller void with few other people who seem to be super cool.

Oh ya, I forgot about that guy. What even is the point of doing that?

Damn. You're fancy. That was like over seven dollars a jar at Aldi. Been curious though.

Damn. I was excited before entering this post. But you're probably right.

Thanks buzzkill.

I have no recommendation, but I wanted to say that I have the SAME issue. I was on a Pixel 3 and I swear that swipe could read my mind. I would be so lazy to swipe/type and I feel it would come out like 95% accurate. Then I switched to a Samsung note, and their swipe always gets it wrong multiple times in a a row. I now tap to type more than swipe.

Thank you for the support.
