But I hate the service, it's the only service around though.

So sugars make you fat, gotcha.

Just download a SNES/Genesis/GBA emulator, no need to waste time sifting through the piles of shit that is mobile gaming.

Reddit mods might be a bunch of power hungry assholes, but at least they are still people, not multimillionaires!

True, but if the LLM was trained on internet data... There are some absolutely stupid and/or unhinged stuff written out there, hell some of them written by me, either because I thought it was funny or because I was a stupid teenager. Mostly because of both.

Russia is the biggest country on the planet by land area.

Better yet, expand universities and allow everybody in.

I remember when I was a kid, it seemed like we had to change the light bulbs every other month. Now I'm annoyed because these things last so long I don't keep any spares and I have to leave my house to buy one when it expires!

Here we go again, Peter?

I love the old Bullfrog games, but the man hasn't done anything decent since the Black & White games. And he keeps lying about his projects.

It's not a problem for a videogame, but D&D5e (actually most D&D editions) is not a balanced game at all. In fact the only RPG that I've played and would call balanced is Pathfinder 2e.

So I was not expecting Baldur's Gate to be balanced at all given it's based on D&D5e.

Gotta say, the second one does sounds more fun. Like we live in a d&d game or something.

Maybe, I'm certainly in that camp. Once RIF stops working I'll stop using Reddit. I don't know that there are a lot of people like me though (and the ones that are are probably here already).

I'm pretty sure you can get a jetpack nowadays if you have enough money. I have no idea if it's legal to use it though.

Also flying cars is a stupid concept. And we have had the better equivalent for ages, they are called helicopters. And you can also get an actual flying car nowadays if you have enough money...

He did, wraith-killing swords for example.

Being from a 3rd world country, it's really weird to me that you guys care about that.

Nobody in their way to stop them, Russian's army is in Ukraine. If they continue like this Moscow will be put under siege by tomorrow.

Personally, I hate youtube's monetization forcing tiny bits of information to be strung out into 15-20+ minute videos

It's not perfect, but SponsorBlock helps a bit with that, it can automatically skips reminders and such. And the new YouTube chapter feature is also actually good for finding the info you want in a video, but that depends on the video creator.

I really miss the old wikis, Fandom is just filled with irrelevant bullshit like recommending me I visit another wiki that has nothing to do with the one I'm using at the moment.

Dwarf Fortress and Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead/Bright Nights are the obvious recommendations I have, though they are more managing/survival games than a classic roguelike.

One that I come back every now and then and don't see recommended often is Prospector, it's about exploring space.

Also I try NetHack every three or four years but I can't make it hold my attention long enough to learn it.

Reminds me of the story about the British India Company putting a bounty on snales to combat an infestation. People started breeding snakes to claim the bounties. When the government caught up to that, they stopped giving bounties for snales heads. So people released all their snakes into the wild, making the infestation worse than it was.

Steam doesn't add the tags, I think? I remember they were user submitted.

Damn dolphins keep sleeping on the job.

Pants are for barbarians after all. Real, civilicedmen wear togas only. Chitons are acceptable but just barely.

I was up into the 100s or 200s attempts when my controller broke lol. I'm bad at this game, but it's fun.

I'm never buying a "smart" anything, aside from phones. I put up with Android and it already feels like too much.

It's been a while since I played 5e, but if I remember correctly you could do some fuckery with Haste and/or Sorcery Points if you don't follow that rule.

I don't think most of them believe the government media, they just go along with it. And the ones that are against it are already dead/in gulags/sent to Ukraine. That's what totalitarian states do.

idk mate, I just decide to sleep and eventually I do.

I know, I was pointing out that it sounds like a total fantasy. I actually don't believe people actually believe all that stuff, but it's up there in yankeeland so what do I know.

I understand why conspirancy theories are popular, it is fun to me to think about them. But I don't believe and the few interactions I had with conspiracy theorists online make me think they are all hard trolling or insane.

What I'm wondering is go fat would that go. You could have an instance that defederates from an instance because it's federated with another instance that is federated with Meta. And so on and so forth. To me that will just create a group of instances that aren't federated with anything else...

I think most people in those mayors drop out, not overall. My guess is that people know you can make a lot of money there but then realize they don't actually like it.

I don't think it's a big issue though, some public money might be "wasted", but you give everyone a chance which find perfectly acce.

I think those are called "commercial displays" now.

Windows 10 sounded like shit, and Windows 7 stopped being supported.

I had some experience with Linux, most things seemed to work and for the rest I decided that it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with Microsoft.

Basically the idea of Aki Ross from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Square was just 20 years early.

Honestly I'm surprised they haven't done so already, they already have the tech to do it, probably need to scale it a bit.

Now I wonder if there aren't SFW videos in pornhub from people that want to upload videos but don't want to use YouTube. Or NSFW video that aren't really porn, like a random guy reviewing videogames naked for some reason. I'm not checking either.

In my country university is free, some have a test you have to pass because there are so many people that want to go, but those are law and medicine. And most people drop out in the first year.

Otherwise it's not really an issue.

I agree with everything you said, but if you have to get the info from a video at least make it as painless as possible.

I've been thinking that pornhub might make a good competition if they made a safe for work version.

Wine. Throw them all into a container, add some water, close the container. Open the container every now then or it might explode, after the first day you probably only need to open it once a day. Do that for two weeks, the bottle it or, if you are feeling fancy, buy a cask and age it there I guess. I just did pomegranate wine as an experiment since I never fermented anything, it tasted alright. I did use bread yeast but I'm convinced I didn't actually needed that and the wild yeast was sufficient.
