For me it was the other way around, every single deleted comment got undeleted. Since then I've edited them (manually) and they're still that way.
Nice. My only suggestion is to check whether the data is actually gone in a week or so.. Mine got undeleted multiple times, not all at once, post by post, day by day... Now I've edited coments instead. That shit must be gross violation of GDPR. Fuck /u/Spez
