True.

Also true that Biden cancelled it in his first months in office... Who knows how long it takes to get fully up to speed on everything bad we have going on?

Also Also true that it started and ran longer under a different regime.

I u'se it to 'signify "here come's an 'S!"*

You're not so little anymore!

Doordash charges restaurants a percentage of the gross from the sale. Rather than eat this cost, restaurants are encouraged but not forced to add a markup on the prices they give Doordash (or insert your favorite third party delivery app here). They all do it.

If you order from a store's own website though, Doordash (I don't know if other third parties do this) did not "find" or create the business/order... they are really only handling the delivery portion.

In this instance, they still have some fees but do not take the large percentage, as that is a finder or broker fee. They aren't bringing the restaurant the business, it's the other way around.

Thus, restaurants can use their normal pricing. If you can find the places near you doing this, it's a much better deal than using Doordash normally.

Just tried this.

So fast!

This guy's AI! Everybody grab a pitchfork!

I thought for the longest time that homeopathy was just a generic name for alternative medicines or something. Wasn't for me regardless so I never gave it a second thought or dug into it.

Someone recently explained what it was to me and I just started laughing. Hilarious. Kinda. I had no clue.

I caught it fine this time, but I've been confused before because I generally browse 'All' because of the content amount. I don't always catch the community right away. It's not an entirely unreasonable mistake.

Cheesy Gordita Crunch is the correct answer, but probably best to also try basic items just for comparison.

I remember the dark days when the Cheesy Gordita Crunch was a limited time offer and it kept going away and coming back. I would always go A LOT when it showed back up. So glad it seems to be a stable staple now.

Oh! And fwiw - they actually sell the Fiesta sauce in some grocery stores now... that is one of the key ingredients that makes it so good. That sauce goes well on/in so many things.

Cursing and not cursing will both get you pretty much no reaction here.

But... if you self censor curse words with f*** or s***.... some lemmings lose their $#!+!

I've been saying the same thing for a while. Same with the massive waves of 'inflation' and enshittification.

Covert Chinese Cones Cause Colorado Car Crawl!

I'm nearing the end if my Marvel Suns phase... picked it up on sale on the PS5 a few months back. Played through twice... am hanging on to that last little bit of the playthrough.

I still snagged the Epic one immediately. Downside is that if I ever get back to beat the PC version, I'll probably have to grab the DLCs... not so much for the missions and characters as for Morbius' lab, which allows you to bump up your stats and make your characters even more OP and take on harder difficulties.

Wife and I watched through it for the first time last month.

We watched it for the second time last month as well.

Actually, we started our third watch last night.

Fwiw, sounds pretty similar to me. Depends on your doc, probably... but I have a good relationship with my Dr. and my ability to discuss my previous diagnosis as well as meds and what worked etc. Was enough for me.

Here's one I played a lot of and loved that I never hear about anywhere... Bionic Commando - 1992. A port of a Nintendo game I only got to try a few times, but the game boy version was better to me.

I enjoyed uprising. It deserved a sequel too though, and was clearly leading to things it didn't get to wrap up sadly. Well worth watching anyway though.

Saying 'nu-uh... you are....' is right up his alley.

Yeah, I'm not suggesting anything different be done to mitigate, just pointing out what us stupid Americans do sometimes.

Woodford's Double Oaked may be my favorite.

If you're still using live journal in 2024, you should win SOMETHING.

Perhaps your award was the friends you made all along....

How's the story?

I finally got a chance to play 'Bounty Hunter' the PS2 Star Wars game a few years ago on PS4.

The controls were inverted x axis and couldnt be changed. I couldn't get through the first level.

On Android Space RPG3 (free) and Space RPG4 ($3?) are really good spiritual successors as well.

Some of the original team are also working on a spiritual successor. Have been for a while. Don't remember what it's called though.

You...

You shot Captain Hector?!

Goldeneye did allow this. Crazy. Hard to use other buttons though.

Predictable comment section is predictable.

Should have created a charity to give out knee high socks or something, I guess. I dunno.

I'm an inverted Y axis guy to this day... but inverted X? Unplayable. Lol

Wow.

Time flies.

And the next sentence is 'That is a lie.'

Is this calling the claim of his bad couch loving a lie, or his previous sentence where he denied it?

With how it's worded, it could even imply that he did reach completion, just that he was too selfish to help the couch get there.
