Death to fascism. End the state, promote happiness, break all cages. Love yer brain -wear a mask!

Haitians put the Spring in Springfield tbh

  1. Korean women don't deserve that, it's the government that is bad not the citizens
  2. What is this zoomer greentext, this is cringe

Those names were always parodying the names of actual corporations. I'm pretty sure Weyland Yutani is basically supposed to be like Lockheed Mitsubishi

Wondering if incandescents can still be sold as heat bulbs because that's what they are

Someone predicted that they were going to slowly add back all the stuff they took out and they were right

Cucked behavior if you're gonna pay Elon musk you need to wear that shame

They don't shout your name any more it would just be on the build sticker

Lol @ their intelligence agencies telling them that this is a bad idea & them going ahead anyway

If you don't block ads and you type things into searches about alcohol you will indeed get a lot of alcohol ads. The thing is though, I never got them as frequently when I was still drinking, or maybe never noticed them. Also I once got served ads for beer on a page about quitting booze lol, it seems pretty intentional even though it's most likely not that targeted.

Based bakery. If the sporting goods store where they bought the piece makes people not carry and they respect that then they should respect other stores that ask people not to.

Jerboa is buggy I'm using Thunder

You're going to need to take a look at your country's immigration policies before you go ahead telling people to come

This is a thing already, I almost never get alcohol ads until I post about trying to be sober.

Some of the industry specific ones like supply chain or logistics or even insurance were fun to lurk, and get a sense of what people in the industry think of those outside it

Nope, Reddit was very different back then. Lemmy feels no different than Reddit does now.

My computer science teachers were all over 70 and *nix users, that's the generation that created a lot of computer stuff we use to this day.

Task failed successfully

That sounds delicious to be able to tell them that. I got fired from a retail job I worked for five years for telling customers about the sign on the door that asks them not to carry. Got unemployment so at least the state knew it was bullshit.

I had the same journey but I'm pretty sure I found Slashdot by way of boingboing which I found by way of Diesel Sweeties blog posts when I first got a DSL connection in 2002 and was looking for comics and blogs to fill up my trendy new RSS reader lol

They are like the anti Amazon in terms of shipping for religious reasons, given their observance of shabbos they don't ship on Saturdays at all. Good to know that their warehouse staff has a weekend day off to rest.

I am old enough to not care what people on the internet think which is why I posted this, I am battle hardened

No android tablet since then you mean. I loved that thing. I still use Pixel phones but I caved and bought an iPad. Even the Pixel tablet can't compare.

It's always been a curved dick. And it's especially apparent when it's on the side of a truck.

Edit: Also, Walmart's logo is a Kurt Vonnegut style butthole

Some sweet older ladies used to work for the NSA like my grandma, and she only had me get rid of her Linux mint partition because she wasn't using it much

Your problem is that you're seeing things as they really are whereas the people down voting you and telling you that you're a pessimist are in denial and you're ruining their vibes

I know that on some shoots like In The Cut they sometimes ran out of herbal smokes and people had to smoke real cigs and hated it

You could like make a simple accumulator machine out of logic gates and enter binary instructions expressed in hexadecimal into its register to program it, yeah, but it's not capable of all the operations of a computer. But yes the first programming was just op codes, switches flipped or punch cards, there was no assembly language. But assembly language is pretty much just mnemonics for operations and registers. Like I had to write a couple C programs in school and use GNU C compiler to disassemble them into x86 assembly and see what it was doing on that level, then we "wrote" some x86 assembly by copypasting a lot of instructions but its not that hard to make something that works in like x86 assembly or like Jasmin (Java virtual machine assembly language) if it's simple enough.

True, that was poor word choice. I guess it would just be "operability?" Or "integration?"

Am wondering if the new ones can actually fit someone who is 6 feet tall in the back seat without them having to hunch over

Sheer processing power, stylus compatibility, and interoperability with computers of the same brand, which Samsung does too. I want an Android tablet that has as good a stylus and CPU speeds, then I would be right on it, because Android is a superior mobile OS in many ways. I loved my Nexus 7 and my ASUS Transformer but they just weren't there yet.

That is what I tried to do

Good on you M8 glad it works well.

This is basically it, we just need better hardware in android tablets and maybe more optimization, Google is trying with tensor but it is a ways off.

Agreed about the software. I wish we had a base Android tablet with the same hardware as the iPad Pro.

Suggest that it's amusing that they pay for the app and they will rush in to try to mock you for not acknowledging the ad-filled free version lol, they love their GUI.

Reddit cringe

Bootlickers assault someone on behalf of a faceless corporation that would replace them in an instant. I worked retail for almost a decade and at every single place we were never supposed to confront a shoplifter let alone do violence to them, that means you get fired.

Edit: wow, y'all are psycho pieces of shit. I would never hire y'all.

Do you have reading comprehension problems or something? You knew that corporate policies generally prohibit doing violence to shoplifters, because that's fucking psycho shit. Yet because you're a bloodthirsty, bootlicking fascist you decided to celebrate their depraved act anyway. You're sick.
