A long time ago in a galaxy far away (before the internet was a normal thing to have) I provided over-the-phone support for a large and complex piece of software.
So, people would call up and you had to describe how they could do the thing they needed to do, and if that failed they would have to wait a few days until you went to the site to sort it in person.
The software we supported was not on the approved list for the company I worked for, so you couldn't use it within the building where the phones were being answered.
Parents literally walked in on her mid-murder, but yeah maybe she was just pretending to kill it? For a joke?
Except that a lot of early and grass-roots rap railed against those things, but that wasn't what got large scale commercial backing in the long run

Yeah, I'm a volunteer firefighter in Catalonia, we only really do maintenance work or fill up gopher roles and damping down in the event of a serious fire ... proper firefighting is in no way fun, people need to be paid for it (and you can't just drag anyone in off the street to do it, lots of my fellow volunteers can't hold a hose for long and would panic in an emergency ... that's not a criticism, it's just how people are)

Yeah, nah, Ducatis are like the carbon road bikes of the motorcycle world - all about dick waving. A little while back one of the larger YouTube channels took the latest Ducati to a track and put it up against a cheap 7 year old Suzuki, and the Suzuki was still faster ... and if you buy a Japanese sport bike it's not going to have the mechanical problems of a Ducati either.

I've done low humidity 45° days/38° nights and it was pretty toasty, but 35° with high humidity kicks my arse. The last couple of weeks here in Catalunya we've had 30-35° with high humidity and I'm just exhausted.

I guess they wouldn't, but I wouldn't list most of that as being particularly arduous. I got my current car super cheap because it needed the head gasket, I changed it and it's yet to have any other real problem.
I guess I don't see cars as fungible, hell if I'd had my way I'd still be driving my first car which was 35 years old when I got it (and you can now get off-the-shelf electric conversions for them these days)
