Yeah that's a horrible sentence my bad. You're not the only one who's not fully awake.

It is mayor jank but Dragons Dogma was the closest to feeling like a mage I've ever experienced. There are no cool downs in the game but channeling spells takes some time and upholding a continuous spell drains your stamina. In this setting the art of a mage was reading the battle and estimating how much space you have to channel spells, several of which can easily break the encounter wide open.

Edited since neither my English nor my autocorrect were working as intended.

This reads like straight out of disco elysium. Great choice of words

That's a "I feel like shit" - post

Sekiro and Hi-Fi Rush

First of all this is a lot of text and I appreciate all the effort you have taken to express your opinion.

There are some points I would like to comment on even if I have not played the game myself. Firstly there is the Aspect of effort. While I can see how beeing on your own or exploring can be a rewarding experience, it creates the tense setting where the developer needs to assess exactly how much effort a player will put into the game. And personally I feels a game like this is mainly cozy and should not put up barriers in front of the player.

Secondly I don't blame devs for not beeing active on social media with the community. Especially when your game is rather small this task can be really mentally exhausting and we all know how easily people get toxic on the Internet. Not everyone wants to put themselves out there, maybe they dislike the attention. They became a developer and not a social media manager after all.

My comment about the lenght was not a critisism. I appreciate details about your opinion.

I wanted to comment under your post because some of your points don't feel specific to the game and I think my opinion might offer you a different view. Also this is a social platform and I just like to interact with people who take the time to express their opinions.

I still disagree with you point about community managers. Just because Concerned Ape is a stellar developer who likes to interact with poeple doesn't mean everyone need to do it his way. There are so many devs who got swarmed by toxicity, not wanting to potentially deal with that is perfectly valid.

Seems really cool. But a bit to scary for me, I just can't stand jumpscares

Would you consider military operations in a foreign country a political theme?

Also do you think it's okay for artists include a message in their work, even if it feels "pushed" to you? Maybe it feels essential to the creator, but since you disagree with the message it feels pushed to you.

Could you share what qualifies as "woke" for you?

Maybe it's so you can make memes on the Internet and make a complete stranger like me laugh. Thank you for that :)

Really good list. I wanna add stardew valley and Nier automata aswell.

Als I'm gonna check out valkyrie profile tomorrow, I've never heard of that game.

Silksong confirmed.

Isn't Multiocular o the letter that as been used literally once, and yet we decided to include it in Unicode. But the original implementation had to many circles meaning we had a letter that has been used literally once and we fucked up in copying it.

Hey im all for giving Bethesda shit for publishing an incredibly bland game, but 8 reviews hardly seem like a solid foundation to make that title.

EDIT : I've realised that autocorrect might have gotten you since around 1, 1k user reviews still sit at around 42% positive

The time capsule was such a cool idea to integrate asymmetrical multiplayer into the world

It's still the game where the developers earned my most honest respect. I cannot even fathom how hard it must have been to keep pushing trough the time past launch and keep adding and adding and adding stuff. IMO they've reached a point past read redemption long ago and it's allways a joy to see a new update trailer.

Why Is there no salami on your game boy?

JEMAKO

Yeah I agreed how soulless games would sound. But while we had so suffer trough these awful games all the performer would have no job for a couple of years and the industry might just die right there and then

Do they just keep your earning in your account until one month your total outstanding earnings breach the 100$ threshold and you'll receive all your earning in one transaction or does this money get swallowed by steam?

It's no exclusive deal. You can download it straight from their website.

Willows. They feel so incredibly relaxed, like they just don't give a shit.

Honestly, I kind of dig it

I don't even have a 144 Hz screen

I get why the poor perfomance got the game some negative reviews, but I don't get the batmobile hate at all. I love my little tank and thought the game had some great passages for it.

All that aside I enjoyed a lot of the story missions as well and liked the plot and how much of an impact your story progression had on the open world.

Are there any emulation that you recommend? Game sounds really cool

Reading those answers is the greatest add this studio could have done for itself. Great choice of words

I'm so Happy to see Tuulik doing something new. His insight in the drama was pretty heartfelt and he seems like such a genuine guy.

I loved Subnauticas Time capsules, but there hardly a permanent mechanic, and more of a single time experience per playtrough.

So Bloodborne 2 is confirmed then

Those are not only some solid choices but I like and agree with your reasoning. One deep immersive game, one pure fun game and one endless replay ability game.

Personaly I would add a creative game like Planet Coaster or Cities skylines 2 to the list as well but I'm jot sure with game category it should replace

Just cause 2 was such a banger of a game. Part 3 was such a letdown for me because half of the map was empty. Such a ashame because the gameplay additions were really cool. My dream sequel would have been the gameplay of 3 with the map of 4.

So far the mod selection seems rather shallow but more and more are coming every day

The mystic class seems really cool

How does the game hold up? I also put over 60hrs in skyrim but with the release of starfield I keep on wondering how skyrim would fare as a modern release. The world and grafic fidelity can be approximated with mods, like a lot of people do, but I feel like the main gameplay especially combat und the quests are not that well done. The one thing that's still amazing is the size of the world

*fallen order (you spelled survivor twice)

Honestly I've I did jot know how survivor improved upon the first part since the pc version was so overshadowed by it's technical problems. Tho I've heard the patch yesterday improved the performance massively

So really good but buggy (on the console version?)?

I guess that's fine. The demo showed the shortcomings of the game but the art direction is incredible and honestly those are not bad scores

Looks really cool, sadly not my type of genre.

On a side note I (and maybe others) don't like the leave the lemmy app to check out your post. I get how the steam page is the most compressed source of information about the game but I would have appreciated a couple of Screenshots, even the ones from the steam page (which looks gorgeous BTW, love the layered clouds).

I've played the demo and it was terrifying.

Are you sure there is no monster? I could swear there was a launch trailer with a monster in it
