I read the warning, prepared myself and still got a heart attack.

Shouldn't they be capable of detecting where the connection is going and disconnect/block it for specific regions or something? I have no clue how any of that stuff works but this one thing feels like it should be the case.

Whitelist/allowlist for this region comes to my mind. But probably some other specific problems would arise from this too. Hmm...

Damn, I scrolled through comments upvoting interesting comments and only after that did I find out that I was supposed to use downvotes as a part of the game. And there I was confused why there's ao much downvotes. Lol

Never have I ever read the rules of this game.

Those are just reflections of the dog's shine.

Yoooooo, I saw this picture as well but didn't realise it was the same person. That's so cool.

It's your fault for having ADHD! 👿

Get in the robot loser!

Yeah, the amount of people saying and upvoting that stuff is just depressing. Hopefully things get better with time. I have no problems with people thinking that stuff and being corrected from time to time but multiple people saying that stuff under every x post is just too much.

Coz noone reads that stuff besides the title.

There's also the fact that a lot of people have undiagnosed ADHD which makes them think that we're just making stuff up when in reality they're also affected by it.

Holy shit, I was just doomscrolling and then I see a crosspost of my 7 month old post. Took me off guard. Lmao

After a while of looking it up I was confused as to why I was getting some sculpture when trying to find where exactly it was and then realised that it's ON that sculpture:

Don't give up on posting. I like those posts.

Impulsively buying stuff, hyperfixating on it for some time, losing that fixation and then having problems with keeping it in your routine as a habit is very much ADHD. ADHD is not 1s ans 0s, how people experience it varies from person to person and the severity of their ADHD. If you didn't have much problems with that in your life then I'm happy for you but I for example wasn't lucky enough with dna and stuff.

At least there's one huge benefit of forgetting stories so you can watch the same movie, read the same book, read the same comic pretty often.

In exchange your life sucks in every way. lol

I barely remember my own life so I indeed don't hold grudges because I have no idea why I held them or if it was actually my fault that something happened.

No, but I often happen to forget that I'm terrible at remembering stuff.

Fuck deforestation.

ADHD isn't some thing that makes you experience things that other people don't experience. It just makes those much much more frequent, stronger and harder to control. Your response is exactly what this meme is about, not enough people take ADHD seriously and many ADHD folks suffer unnecessarily because of that. ADHD is a condition that has a wide range range of symptoms and is not just "haha, I can't focus on things as well as others". There's also a chance that you and your family have undiagnosed ADHD which makes it seem to you that everyone lives like that when it's simply not the case.

If you're the type of person to actually listen to us then please watch this 3-part video because it really puts into the perspective what ADHD is. Of course this video is a bit dated and doesn't cover our experiences too much but that's understandable as it's about the neuroanatomy behind ADHD to lay a foundation to understand ADHD.

Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyZtYzFq4WY

Part 2: https://youtu.be/M8dLiH1LFx8?si=7NUMGSDFXrvd4ixe

Part 3: https://youtu.be/sPFmKu2S5XY?si=XToMJ3kvrt5TiW97

Edit: ADHD also has a big overlap with other neurodevelopmental disorders or things like depression. And speaking of depression, a lot of people with ADHD have it which means that although some of the things are not directly caused by ADHD they're still indirectly caused by it which makes it alright to discuss in this group. Role of those kinds of groups is to make people find comfort by showing that there are other people that are experiencing the exact same things. Sharing your success stories is also encouraged to motivate people to not give up and try different things till they find something that works for them.

Few days ago I saw someone explaining that it's some kind of joke on people that talk about air fryers. The text is usually "I guess you don't own an air fryer" or smth along the lines with any image of a person that has this specific little smirk.

If you have to remember to do it it's not a habit. Or at least that's my understanding of habits.

Meanwhile I still don't know what gimp is besides it being a graphics software.

Thanks, will try that next time

Your response doesn't apply to ANY of his 4 points...

Holy shit! You actually made it? I found it shown for a short moment in a youtube video so I looked it up and posted there. Damn...

It's allowed.

C'mon don't be like that.

How large in scale is the ban wave? Reddit is a big site so even if some communities get banned not much people will care and even less will know about lemmy.

Manga in left to right format should be illegal.

I think it's 2 hands on a peach of which implications is obvious.

Look up "ADHD and executive dysfunction".

ADHD is in big part quirky human behavior turned up to 11.

Edit: ngl, I'm tired of people just coming here, saying that everyone's like that, getting lots of upvotes and downvoting people when they clarify stuff. :/

I have heard that self-talk actually helps you at doing tasks but I never managed to learn it so I can't speak from experience.

He also smiles in frame 2.

I didn't expect the ending. lol

I mean, it's easier to feel accomplished after doing something when things come to you more naturally. As opposed to when you have ADHD and you struggle to do the most basic shit that's not related to capitalism and expectations of others AT ALL.

I'm an amateur data hoarder and what you just said is blasphemy.
