I always was sad to see people bashing the Bixby buttons existence. I never used Bixby ever but it was so useful as a macro button. Now they took the button away.

Today I learned yt-dlp has sponsorblock built in
It's weird. When there's just one narrator and they do different voices for different characters I don't think twice about it but I can still tell the characters apart by voice alone. But when there's an entirely different person's voice my attention gets mildly distracted by it. It's similar to when sometimes books will have a random sentence read out by someone different than the narrator, probably a post recording correction.
That being said it's usually pretty few and far between when I come across an audiobook book with multiple narrators, and usually it's per section of the book (maybe from the perspective of different characters) rather than switching mid dialogue between characters
I've started consciously avoiding clickbait looking thumbnails for a while. While this addon looks great on paper, I do prefer to support creators who don't treat me like a kid in a candy store. That being said, I had no idea this addon existed, that's pretty cool
Not fair, your username comes pre-moaned
I thought this was a broken texture or something for a second. Very trippy
People like to hate on FC5 but honestly it's my favorite one
Someone gets an eraser out and goes at it
I just finished Morrowind for the first time a few weeks ago, vanilla other than using openmw. It has aged a lot better than I expected it would have. I can definitely see why people say it's their favorite TES, and I'm not talking with any kind of nostalgia.
Makes sense considering how musically distanced RAM is from everything else they've made, it's a lot less house-y than their earlier albums. Talking as a die hard daft punk fan.
Had similar happen to me except I didn't get to appeal it for quite a while and they told me they couldn't tell me why it was banned and they wouldn't be lifting it, I had no purchases mind you. Just made another account
You can't buy me off, Burger Man!
Do you not preheat your oven..?
I don't know what single page or forest is but two of those are already available?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bitwarden-password-manager/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/ (for the record while this extension is good, I generally prefer yt-dlp)
What kinds of extensions are you missing? There may be good alternative
Do color deaf people only hear "Without further ado"?
Are we going for a Mammoth Tank at some point?
I'm there too. I was really excited for the game. Didn't watch any promotional material. Have never seen a trailer for the game and stayed away from any media of it. I got bored so fast and I can't force myself to keep playing it as it felt like there was nothing more to see after the first few hours
F3D https://f3d.app/
It's an open source model viewer. What makes it really cool is that it handles models easily from explorer, loading them instantly when you open the file & it even generated thumbnails for the files too
Maintenance is something I've been thinking about a lot, thanks for mentioning it. I know it's supposed to be a lot cheaper than other cars but at the same time I'm curious what maintenance looks like 10+ years out, in other words older than probably most of the bolts out there. I appreciate the comment though!
I used to work while listening to audiobooks so I have come across a lot of this.
It's not quite what you asked for but what I found was that in general, nonfiction memoirs were my favorite types of books to listen to as it would be ok if you get distracted and they were usually very interesting to me.
If I remember later I'll check my list of books I've read and try to find some good fiction too.
What are the games closest to Metroid without being Metroid I can get? I've already played axiom verge
I use the steam deck preset with yuzu. I also changed the resolution to 900p and increased the framecap to 40 fps and menu to 90 IIRC
I also lowered draw distance slightly. Can't remember if I made any other adjustments
As a kid I used to have keybinds setup in Jedi Outcast (bind k "NPC spawn stormtrooper")that would let me spawn different enemies on me while notarget was on and g_saberrealisticcombat at 3. Hours of entertainment till the game would inevitably crash from too many enemies
I've got totk running at around 30-40 fps with some hitches using TOTK optimizer https://github.com/MaxLastBreath/TOTK-mods/releases
This is a difficult one for me as I grew up with both (started work green leaf & GB pinball as my first Pokemon games) bit I think I agree, explorers of time/darkness was a much better game than any of the mainline Pokemon games were
Yeah I'm pretty split right now between getting a bolt while they're still available or waiting and hoping the equinox is as good as they are saying it will be. I definitely want an EV at some point though my current (ancient) car currently does the job for short trips
How do you like your bolt? I've been thinking about getting one or maybe an equinox when that comes out
Noo all the best music is gone
I use plexamp too with a large library so I can comment on the android side (I didn't know some of these differences existed)
I'll also comment that I sort all my music by folder and Plex does ok with this Not great, but it works
I've played oblivion and Skyrim before, it was just Morrowind I stayed away from
Elevenlabs is incredible but yeah it's not there 100% for audiobook purposes I think. I trained it on an audiobook from one of my favorite narrators and had it read from another book. It sounded just like the guy but the intonations and mannerisms just weren't quite there to match the text.
If you're playing the game vanilla you won't really miss anything, assuming you own all of the DLCs/expansions. Both games are modable but in my experience special edition is much more stable
Switchty Four
I used to use this but now I just use yt dlp since it seems to handle random stuff with more success and it's just as easy to use
Yeah if any dealerships near me ever had any in stock I probably would have bought one by now on impulse, I wish you could purchase it without any kind of dealership intervention though
Nails are out, pizza is in!
I've actually found myself surprised at how my brain doesn't hear that was weird. I personally find it very natural. Maybe it's because I was read a lot of stories verbally as a kid?
T SQUARE is great, check out Kimi Wa Hurricane by them
I guess for me I'm much more inclined to use GitHub projects on stuff like that as I prefer to keep my browser lightweight & reduce risk of malware extensions. If you prefer extensions over programs in general, then I understand
