Problem is that the church leaders and politicians in the red states will point and scream at their opponents about how they are the cause of it all, god is punishing them, and their base is ignorant enough to lap it up and further entrench them against science and common fucking sense.
I live in an extremely backwards red area in the US and I see this every day.
Came here to see if anyone else had, my fork was taken down as well. Not to mention the file linked in the email for the notice doesn't exist so I can't even see what was claimed. I had planned to fight the takedown since at the time I forked it, there wasn't nothing infringing that I saw.
I've contacted github for a copy of the notice, we'll see what happens.

Where I live, absolutely. Everytime I hit the road I see at least 5 idiots turning left from the far right lane, driving half the speed limit, running red lights, having no idea what the right of way is or how intersections with only one stop sign work.
And I don't drive that much, in 2.5 years I've put 20k miles on, 3k of which were road trips and Im not counting those drives in my idiot count.

I can't think of anything, I just recently finished my 2 year stint with an iphone and never saw issues with groups no matter which phone they had.
You should be able to add it as an account, I think from the top left when you are the main feed.
Edit : went and checked, there's a down arrow next to your name when you hit the menu icon, hit it and you should be able to add an account on a different instance
I thought I read they had CO2 scrubbers and enough o2 to extend their life support to 96 hours or so, is that not the case?
Though thinking, if they lost power the scrubbers won't function without manually pumping air through and who knows if that's a possibility. I would specify two backups for the scrubber power along with other mitigation, but the way this has gone I am confident they have nothing like that.

As long as all of the instances you want to watch content on are federated, you should only need one account on one instance to see it all. You can search for !communityname@instance.tld. For instance, to be able to see this community I searched for !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world in my own instance (you have to search a couple of times, it takes at least two from ... I don't remember where I read it on github, but I saw it!) and you can subscribe and interact with it.
