That's why i loved Divinity Original Sin 2, fairly sparse combat, only when necessary, and when it wasnt necessary it was short and sweet. Made the combat quite a treat, certainly helped that it was an amazing system

I mean the b-movie feel is definitely the attractor, not a detractor for fans. I totally understand how thats not everyone's cup of tea tho.
I will say that the stealth sandbox in MGS3 and MGSV rival what other great stealth titles like Splinter Cell, Thief etc have to offer.
I mean, its a completely different system for a different type of game. Thay's like saying "Gears of War did 3rd person shooting well, Halo has no excuse for not doing that"
I think they mean when those system are impelmented into non RPGs, such as the new God of War games, Spider-Man, etc.
